WHAT'S IN YOUR WALLET?

I finished this reindeer the night before I left....uploaded on flickr and I invite all of you when you finish your reindeers to upload as well.

Now to show you what is in my wallet. My husband's eyes bugged out when he saw all of these pouches,bags...and I didn't show you the two cosmetic bags in the bathroom right now. He just laughed...but I laughed at all of his electric cords in his suitcase. At least my stuff in organized in one compartment.
A pouch for my jewelry, kindle cord and camera cords, bag for medicine (gotta have headache medicine), bag for embroidery, computer cords etc....the list goes on.

Now to give my husband credit, he is so organized and all of his things are wrapped nicely with rubber bands around them (so much better than what I would have done...the cords and wires would have free range with me and get tangled up).

Oh...that pink bag is my camera battery charger (yes...I did finally find it the day before we left)...sheweee how I looked for that. I kept thinking if I could only remember what color bag it was in. Now I know and it is documented.

What do you see below? I am trying to support my friend Caroll in her embroidery reindeer games. I sit here wanting my machine so badly....but keeping my hands busy doing this is therapy for now.
What you see below is some awesome Batiks fat quarters, eight of them. I got them at JoAnn's for five bucks. Oh yes....the package had been damaged. When I saw the price my eyes bugged out, I looked around like I was stealing .... snatched up the bag of fat quarters and ran to the counter...didn't want anyone to change their minds .... I also got the 2" Go cutter strip die for 19.00, I purchased it for a friend. What was I thinking? I didn't buy me one...I went back a few days later and it was regular price.....I felt my boot on my bootie for not getting one earlier.
The weather in San Antonio is totally wonderful....it feels like home.

It was a steal.....grin! $5 for anything fabric is unheard of. Your reindeer turned out really cute and "I" love all your little bags.

My first embroidery reindeer is about half done. I will put a photo in the Flickr group when I finish.

I think you had zippers left over and didn't know what to do with them....love the little bags. Make your guy some "man bags" to super organize him!
very fun blog....

Nice packing job! I can see what my problems with packing have been and now know that I need some little pouches. Thanks for the inspiration! Nice find on the fabric bundle!

I know what you mean about little bags. I have and make them all the time. And, every once in a while, I ask myself why. Good score on the dots. Love your raindeer. Wish I liked to do embroidery.

I am so happy for you! Warm weather and feels like home. That says it all Barb! $5, I would have grabbed it too! I feel the need to run to Joanne's!!

you make me laugh....you must have a whopper of a handbag to put those wallets in!

What a great idea to make separate bags for all that stuff! I usually just cram it all together in one bag and that's usually a Ziplock! LOL

Hey there, girl! Your reindeer is too cute...and the peek of the other one you showed us looks pretty cute, too! I love all of your pouches/bags...glad to know that I'm not the only one with a bunch of them in my suitcase! And you so totally scored with those FQs!

Hope you have a very enjoyable and fun weekend!

XOXO,

I love being organized...but you have taken it to a whole new level - you are organized and it looks pretty, too! Girl, you made out like a bandit on those FQs!

You crack me up with your pouches. I agree with Snoodles - you have taken this organization thing to a higher level! :)

Thanks for stopping by.

Hi Barb loved your little Court Jester in last post but didn't get a chance to comment. I have to cut out some of my blogs again as just too many to read every day. I think have little bags for everything is the only way to go when travelling, then you don't have to maul your suitcase looking for something.
What are you doing in San Antonio? Blessings sandra

I do love organized stuff. However, I think you might be border line bag lady. hee, hee, hee.
Totally jealous you got to move to a fun place.

Your stitching looks wonderful!! I love your pouches!! I need to make some for myself. I'm jealous of your JoAnn find. I was just in there today and didn't see anything even close :(

What a great idea to put cords into those cute patches. My DH also organizes with rubber bands, but I really like your pouch idea. I do put my jewelry in one pounce, makeup in another, but cords just tend to get packed. I'll definitely starting putting them in pouches.

Glad to hear weather is good. I hope you get settled soon with a really big sewing room and lovely home.

What days do the raindeer come out?

I think it's an awesome idea too. I am on the road so much and hate being unorganized. And all of those cords are so unsightly!

Pretty bags to keep you organized and I love the reindeer .

I need pouches like that for my cords. It is chaos here with all of the different ones.

Now to get organized
