A LITTLE BIT OF EVERYTHING!

So much has been going on in my sewing room.

So let's start with Posh Penelope.

It took me a day to sew 248 curved pieces, they are shown in the below picture on the left.

The next day I spent trimming them.  How boring can that be?  I had to take a lot of breaks.

This month was my month to chose the theme for our Family row by row and I chose Strawberry Jam.
There are some members that are not too happy about my choosing the jam but hey, they will live.  I did tell them I could choose another but they were sweet enough to endure the block.

Here are my two rows together.  Probably won't be in this order.   If you think it is cute, you should see it up close.  I am just tickled pink.

Now for the true meaning of life.  It does not get any more precious than this.  He is just the sweetest baby ever but he hates to sleep.  I also call him Hoover because he eats anything on the floor.  Before he comes I have to clean my floors real good or he will have a hay day.

He is very partial to his grandfather.  I will do in a pinch but the sun rises and sets with his Papaw.

Just a little up date on my Log cabin blocks.  I have forty done and almost have ten more done.  They have been in the almost stage all week. I keep telling myself I just have two more rounds to get them done.  Sigh....maybe tomorrow.

The little boy is so sweet. We also have a situation where our eldest grand daughter definitely loves the Papa more than anyone else!

Okay....most important first. That is one SWEET little guy. I want to hold him and hug him and read him a storybook.

The row quilt is looking good. I like your Jam Block. The Log Cabin looks great also. I love the batiks in with the prints.

ONLY one day to sew 248 curved pieces?! That would be a month’s work for me, if not more. Adorable rows, so home-spunish! And you know I love log cabin blocks a lot. Looking forward to the finish of those. Would in the next 15 minutes be enough??

248 curved pieces in just one day?! Girl, you are getting it done! That would take me a month! IF I even did curve piecing which scares me!

Your colors and batiks for Posh Penelope are so yummy. But those curves look too challenging for me (not sure I can do that as perfectly as you have). What a lovely little angel you have. Too cute.

Posh Penelope - oh my! Thats a lot of cutting, sewing and trimming....congrats on getting that far. Love your row and I think the strawberry jam is adorable. But noting beats that cute baby....I am so hoping to meet the newest additions to the family before summer - depends on vaccine!

So your curved pieces, I have a quilt with pieces that look like that and I will say it takes me quite a bit longer than that. OMG what a cute little one. I love your Strawberry Jam row.

Awww. That little guy looks so sweet. A non sleeper is hard to babysit. Your logs are going to make a fabulous quilt and I love the Posh Penelope blocks. Your family quilt is going to be so cute with all of those great designs.
