This is six gallons of dew berries. I had eight but I have made two cobblers since, one for us and one for a baby shower.

You are too much. Are the berries just that delicious?
Wish I could help you wit the berry picking, but too far away, and once us women get it in our heads that something needs to be done, no-one can save us from our seleves. You take it easy out there.
Sorry Barb. I am not going to save you. I know that picking dewberries is hard work, but I am coming over to join you. Bring that walking came with you when we go so we can poke it around to get rid of the snakes. Now see what you've done? I'm hankering for a dewberry cobbler!
LOL maybe you do need to be saved from yourself. What is a dew berry? What is it like? I thought you were talking about blueberries and thought they must come early where you live. So you see, we all have ore problems. I'll bet you will appreciate those berries next winter.
Oh my fresh Dew Berries. What a treat. But 8 bags? You must be exhausted.

PS - Next time, it is ok to think of the birds. And ok to leave some dew berries for them too. :)
I completely understand you obsession. However, I missed what happened to your foot/ankle?
What are dew berries comparable to in the taste area? I've never heard of them but they must be yummy if you're willing to do all that backbreaking work.
Waiting for the light f day to get out there? At least you know you aren't a vampire LOL!
It is Ok to pick berries until you are finished picking them!! I wish I had a bite of that cobbler!!
LOL Girl, I share your obsession, except it's when the blueberries come in!
I love it!!! Me, too! I've picked strawberries, cherries, raspberries and it's soooo hard to STOP. It's not until I'm back home looking at all those boxes that I wonder '"What in the world; now you have to take care of all!!" Just plain CRAZY - me, that is, not you! lol
I understand your obsession with the berries...I am that way during blueberry and blackberry season here...
I don't know what a dew berry is, but they sure look good!
I have never had a dewberry before.
Sigh, I just wish I had a place to pick them. I would love to make a cobbler and some jam.
I have never heard of a dew berry before. I imagine I would be in the same boat and I would be picking until the cows came home! =)
A dewberry? Never heard of it. Now I'm going to have to try one. I do love some berries. I wish I was there to help you pick them and then eat them! hee, hee, hee.
