I don't know about your sewing room or how you feel about things but.............. I have so many projects just laying around the sewing room waiting to be finished. It drives me crazy....so I decided to get busy and get some things done.
Here is one of my finishes. I have found since I use glue to help me with the bindings that my borders way but as soon as it washes it goes flat. I think I use too much and the wave is the stiff part and can't help but wavy. Great project for practicing my FMQ. AND it is DONE!!!! One pile gone. This is a panel and you can find it and the coordinating fabrics at Inchworm Fabrics.
Then I had a friend showed me a picture of a quilt that she wanted to make for her baby and asked if I thought she could do it???
Then she said she had plans for her sons but never got around to it. I told her if she wanted she could send me the fabrics and I could make the quilt for her as a gift. She jumped on that like flies on a cow pie...HA!!!
I got the fabrics yesterday and loved them so much I just couldn't help myself.
I just love love the colors and trust me it is a lot prettier up close and personal...
No berry picking today.....It is getting things done today day....I must. I will have to go to an institution if I don't clear some of these piles out of the way.
Have a fabulous Memorial Day Week-end. Thanks to all of you who have had husbands, brothers, sisters, mothers, or even yourself for serving to keep our Country Free.

I've been feeling the same way Barb and have committed to getting past projects done and so far it's been very fulfilling.
fun quilts! love the tree one with the bible verse. and cute baby one
I love both of those quilts!
I'm right there with ya. I started to work on a new project this evening and stopped myself. I've got too many already started projects to enjoy starting something new. I hope to finish one or two this weekend then maybe I can enjoy starting something new.
Congratulations on the finishes! I can barely walk in my room. Way too many UFOs to count. I think I'll just pass them on to the next generation.....:)
I love the pink/blue/grey quilt.
I know just what you mean about the "stuff" hanging around. I've got so many tops waiting to be quilted that I almost daren't look in that cupboard!
I have piles of the remnants of projects sitting in several different places that I need to get back in the bins. Happy Holiday!
Love the baby quilt. Looks pretty straight forward.
You have two wonderful finishes there Barb. I so need to get in my room for just that purpose. Nothing new. Sigh...
I try not to have too many projects pilled up, but lately I have allowed too many quilt tops sit unfinished. I do need to get them quilted and out of my to-do pile. =) One of these days...
I Iove that second quilt!!!
You got the fabrics yesterday, and here it is finished?! Really great!
I have a bunch piled too.
Hi Barb, now don't tell me that your big beautiful sewing room is a mess! lol I'm sure that's not true. I'm sure it just full of lovely piles of creativity. ;) Your two finishes look terrific.
Keep on quilting!

School is out in a week and my sewing room is at the tops of the list for my summer cleaning project. It is so bad...piles everywhere and I am not a pile person. But, starting (and finishing) a new project is inspiring. And will make the cleaning go better.
I am going to my first overnight retreat later this week (for 3 nights and 4 days!) with the sole goal of getting some stuff DONE! As a longarm quilter, I am always working on other people's quilts when I am at home. It is so hard to work on my projects when there are money-making quilts waiting to be done! This retreat is just the thing:) Check out my blog: renaissanceSandi.blogspot.com next week to see what I accomplished!
Girl I already know you have amazing skill and talent! There is no foolin me and your quilts are amazing :)
Giant Hugs,
Kelly
I love that you cut, sewed and finished it all up. I love that feeling of accomplishment. I even have it on this side of the world not having lifted a finger!!!!!
