GHASTLIE BLOG HOP IS HERE TODAY!!!

Here is my wall hanging blowing in the wind. I want to add some words to it, have any ideas? The huge tree is done by machine. Notice the buttons? They are from Button Mad, Incomparable Inc.

Here is the remaining fabric. There is close to a half yard here.
Here is the fabric folded (didn't want to trim it up in case someone wanted to fussy cut)...Yes, I said someone. I am giving this fabric plus a click it bag designed by Robin Quilts etc.

I have given you the link in case you wanted to go and purchase this fun bag. Just leave a comment!

I can not even begin to say how fun this hop has been. If you have missed the first few days, you truly need to go and check out the other blogs. What talent and creativity out there.
A big Thanks to Madame Samm for arranging this for all of us.

So please, go and start hopping....and thanks for coming by.

Well, cool! I love your wallhanging! I have some Ghastlies that I have been afraid to cut. I plan to order more so I can make my daughter the quilt she wants (it was supposed to be for me, but she begged). Needless to say, this quilt won't be made for Halloween this year. Oh well, Halloween happens next year too...

Thanks to you, too. Good job with the tree, it goes with the Ghastlies.

I love the wallhanging. If you really want to add words, I think "boooo" and "woooo" would be good. but I'm not sure how you could get the sort of ghostlie tone in!

VickiT said...

Oh my ~ Beautiful wall hanging. I wish I had some 'words' for you but I am horrible at that type of thing. Heck, my own children are lucky they even got names when they were born. lol And on two of the three children I realized years later how I messed thst up even. WHY would anyone give their poor child a very common first name when thier last name is Andersen? That's like naming your child John Jones or something ya know. but yep, I did that to my twins.

Anyway, your tree is amazing too. That took a lot of work and patience I'm sure but it fits perfectly. Wonderful job you've done. I just adore the Ghastlies and am so upset I never bought any when it first hit the stores.

So cute! You could put the phrase "A Witching Night Tonight" on it.

debbie m said...

The tree free-motion is great! I'm not so good at words either. MR and I write what we call "Bad Poetry" for special occasions. Some times serious, sometimes goofy. But I'll give it a go
Home is where you hang your broom,
Home is where you cook your brew.
Fly on up and sit a spell,
And maybe have a cup or two.
Now I'll have to go put that with my yard of Ghastly fabric so I dond't forget it,lol.
Please enter me in your hat full of names to be drawn for the fabrics from Maddam Sammi, but not the half yard of yours (I already have a yard of that, I just don't have the other fabrics to go with it!!!) Thanks for Sharing your creativity :o)
