THIMBLEBERRIES SEW DAY!

I took the easy route today.

I got the teapot pattern from this book.

This is what I made...

I have so many projects that I just wanted to be able to finish one thing...just one thing today.....that wasn't too much to ask...was it?

This purple is so striking that I just had to do something with it. Thanks Jeanette.....I just love these towels. I think these projects are great when you just want to finish something up.

If you joined us today on Thimbleberries sew day, please leave a comment. I am trying to figure out this linky stuff and when I do you will be able to link your sew day to my post....sorry....not able to today. Thanks for joining us, if you let me know, I will personally link you below.

Crazy'bout quilts, Sandie, and I came up with this Thimbleberries sew day a year ago...She has been better about keeping up with it.

But.....go visit her blog

Then visit Crafts and Stuff

So this weekend I cut out two mug rugs and finished one to give to a friend yesterday that I hadn't seen in a long time. I love your teapot, cute pattern. I have decided when I get this last few big projects done I am going to work on small things. have a wonderful day. Blessings Sandra

Barb, I love the teapot design. I like how the thread you used for your blanket stitch is nice and shiny. What kind are you using and what are you using the bobbin?

I just want to thank you Barbara for always being there for me and a lot of other people. You are a wonderful friend.

I just read your post about the scraps. Yes they do grow!! Sometimes I think well there is the trash but I am a saver so I can't do that.

Very cute! I just finished a set of pillowcases that were 30+ years in the making! I'm using up old fabric and my stash. It's been fun. I love your varied projects. Can't wait to see what you come up with next!

Bee-YOU-tea-full teapots, Barb. They seem to be so un-Thimbleberries in style, but so much of their charm is the sweet fabric you used. They're cute as can be.

What a cute little teapot! Sometimes a nice project in a day is just the boost we need to motivate us to finish off some of the long term projects.
