HILO'S HAUL

First of all, I am staying druged up on these puppies.

Yes, caught a nasty cold.....trust me, this is nothing new, if there is a bug going around, I will catch it. Lucky me!
Purchased these cosmetic bags at Hilo Hatties....and well....I didn't buy them for me, these will be in future giveaways on this blog....oh yes....it is almost partaaaaaa time here at Bejeweled and I am getting the partaaaaa favors ready.

Purchased two of these bundles, 4 fat quarters at Fabric Impressions in Hilo...... I just want everyone to know that I maintained composure and restraint when entering this shop. Knowing that I have two weeks left on this journey and knowing my space in my suitcase.....well.....I was a big girl wearing big girl drawers yesterday.

Here is what was in the bundle.....ohhhhh so nice.....

Pictures speak a thousand words....... from the Macadamia Nut factory...

This is just part of this massive tree we saw.

Now this is handsome son #4 by the waterfalls Akaka.......I dont' know which is more magnificent????

This is Rainbow Falls.

We went to the crater but were not allowed to walk up to it, too much sulfur dioxide. Bummer.
We are headed to Texas to meet up with son #1 and son #2 is suppose to fly in on the 21st but we found out today this might not happen........ I have some superlatives to add to this but I will once again maintain composure and restraint.... It is hard wearing big girl drawers....

Sorry you're under the weather -- hopefully you'll feel better soon.

Son No. 4 is very handsome. I hope Son No. 2 can make it.

So you really like macadamia Kisses, huh? Just teasing -- I understand completely. My mother-in-law is forever finding things that I can't get here but can't live without.

Have fun in Texas!

Looks like you are having a lovely time. I really like the fabric. We had a family portrait done in front of Akaka Falls when I was about 14 years old.

Nice photo of your son. And the fat quarters and Hershey kisses with macadamia nuts....both yummy!

Looks like you are having fun. Seems I keep missing you.

Hope the meds are giving you some relief.

The fabric is fun. Can't wait to see what you use them for. Or are they the kind of fabric you buy, add to the stash and don't use for years? I think all quilters have fabric like that.

Nice candy haul. That should keep you busy for a day or two ;)

Son #4 is handsome. Great picture. That one should go up on the wall.

Have a safe trip to Texas.

Just catching up after being away, Barb, and am loving all of the fabrics and quilts that you have discovered.

Yes, that #4 is a nice specimen!!!!!

I forgot to tell you that I hope that nasty cold goes away soon.

That candy has to weigh more than the fabric, take those big girl pants off and go wild. By the way, son # 4 is nicer to look at than whatever was behind him (I didn't notice the other scenery). ;)

Sorry your sick, hope you're better soon. The bags are so cute and so are the fabrics. Oh, how I love those macadamia nuts, never seem them in Kisses before. I always look forward to Christmas time when I can get some Chocolate macadamia nuts from Costco. You have a very handsome son alright, he must take after you. Have a great trip and be safe.

So you must be in Hawaii right now. Wonderful views all around. Hope Son #2 manages to get to Texas to see you.

Son #4 is very handsome. He looks like his mom! Get better, dear. You don't want to fly when you are sick.

My stars, your son certainly resembles his mama. Mmmmm...nuts and chocolate. You are showing restraint that any of them lasted long enough to be photographed. Enjoy your visit with as many sons as you can round up.

Poor you. Hope the drugs have kicked in and you are feeling better soon. Sounds like you were very restrained lol. You know you can always buy another bag for your fabric :-)

I'm sorry you are feeling yucky...though it's obviously not interfering with your shopping LOL.

You have one handsome son (well 5 of them but we are only seeing the one LOL).

Love all your treasures from Hilo, except the medicine. I do so hope you feel 100% better soon. Did you have to fly off to Texas while being sick?

Ho my Gosh, I was there!!!!! I was at Fabric Impression, I was at the Waterfall, These were some of the things I did on my trip, and I brought fabric home from there too. Not the same pack, but one like it. My first fabric stop on the trip. I brought a lot of fabric back from the ports of call.
