Got this peach applique ready to applique. You can see the green under the peaches....ooops....should have paid more attention... this will be a pillow, it is a joke for someone at Vance's work.
Had left over fabric from the pillowcase and so I cut out these squares for a quilt. All I had was Samoan fabric to match it.....hope I can find a backing???
Then more left over fabric, once again Samoan fabrics.... hopefully, I can get to sewing on these things tomorrow for my last retreat day, right now, it is still Sunday.
I decided on my giftiee that I am going to make myself. I know, I should have planned my retreat better and had the gift ready when I started my retreat. I have never done a retreat before, this was a learning experience. Will show that when I get it finished.
I also plan to go shopping for fabric tomorrow....how can I have a retreat and not buy fabric? Gee....what is up with that. But I must say, this was quite a retreat, there has been little laughter and talk going on.....I have missed you. Maybe in the future, I can join in a real retreat and meet some of you??? Thanks for joining mine via blogging.

Your retreat looks very productive. Can't wait to see the quilt with the Samoan fabrics and the fabric from your shopping.
Barb, I so loved your retreat. Will you be doing a summary of everything made?
Well it may have been a quiet retreat but very productive. I would love to do a retreat some day too.
Crispy
Fun!
Shop till you drop!
dang girl, how many pillowcases have you cranked out?
You have been busy, Barb!
Looks like it was a good retreat, laughter and sewing, field trips what more could you ask for? If you are ever in my neck of the woods let me know and we will plan another retreat together!
Your pillow cases are very pretty. Looks like you're having fun on your retreat. We all need more fabric...........lol. Have fun Barb.
Happy Quilting!
Looks like you've been busy. Yes, everyone needs a shop hop during a retreat.
I have never been to a real retreat either.....I sure would love too someday!
Glad that you enjoyed yourself! Can't wait to see what fabrics you buy. :o)
XOXO,
Cyndi
Great retreat Barb...wish I could have joined you.
Fun retreat! If you had all of us there with you there would have been more shopping, eating, laughing and less sewing.
I love your retreat idea. Better watch it or I'm going to come knocking on your door, to join you, next time.
Did you get any special snack food? Wow, you have been very productive making beautiful things (as always). Love your fabrics!
