This used to be my iron.........it has been gone for the last week. Can I have a moment of silence..........
No....I did not throw it across the room in a fit of anger.....If I was going to throw something, it would be my computer....this internet is driving me nutzzzzz but....it is working sporatically this morning and I grab a chance whenever it decides to work.
So....can you all tell me, how many irons I have gone through in the last 3 years since I have been living in Amerika Samoa? The one who guesses first will get a little something in the mail.
As for this picture, it is bindings for 4 quilts that I have just quilted. My job today, if I chose to accept it is to put the bindings on the quilts. Any volunteers? Rumi from Lucky Frog was the first one to guess right. Thanks a bunch for commenting.......

My guess is 3!!!!!!
My iron has decided to slowly die also. My steam button is stuck in the down position. I love to steam my fabrics and blocks so I miss it terribly. I will probably have to go out shopping next week for a new one.
I guess you might have gone through 3-5 irons in the past 3 years so I will go all the way and say 5!

One a year, this was number Three. What kind will you get next?
My guess is 6. Is it the electricity or just irons in general? I have three I don't use because they leak all over tarnation so I'm going to get rid of them in a garage sale....a sale for leaky irons :)

Barb, you are so funny! Irons can be tricky things. I think I've had 3 in the 27+ years I've been married, and my current Black & Decker heavy metal one is just about my favorite. I think I paid $14 for it brand new. I sure hope you have good luck finding a good iron you can love!

I love my iron, you can't have mine but you can have one of the other 4 that I have in the closet. There is nothing like a good iron.
Well let's see, if you are like me it is about 2 a year but I bet you are more careful, so I will guess 5, yep 5!
you poor thing. I'm going to say 4.
I have had a Rowenta now for 3 years and so far so good, though my $6.00 cheapee walmart iron produces much better steam.
If you are as hard on an iron as me I will guess 5!! Happy binding!

I'd be taking a total guess, as to how many irons you have gone thru while in AS. So, I'll simply say it is far more than normal. But then you get far more quilts and items made than the normal person too!
I guess from your post you didn't buy an extra iron to take back to AS with you? Hymm. Time to come back to the US and do some shopping (with me?).
