If anyone has the stop button, will you push it?
In the light of my passion for doing a pattern over and over..... and over and over....
I have some extra of these blocks, I know there are atleast 16 blocks, to make a pretty good sized quilt.(to lazy to count, maybe even more)...either way it is up for grabs....so let me think...... What can I do?
OH...I know...will be right back...hang on...
My husband and I went walking along the shore around the airport on Friday and we gathered shells...
Here is a lovely one my husband found.
I found this clam shell in one piece.....not such a good picture...
Here is the back of it....gotta clean it up some.
Here are the shells....I am trying to clean them.
So....if you would like the drunkard's path blocks....guess how many shells we collected on Friday. Counting the two I showed you. The first one to guess right, I will send the blocks to. I don't know about you but I sure like these guessing games better...because either you are the first in the comment list or no.....no papers, no generator..... AHHHHHHHH I love it!!
42? I am loving your guessing games.
possibly 45 shells???
Barb, are you appliqueing the circles or sewing them? If sewing them, are they simple to do? Yours looks so nice and flat. When I attempt to sew concave curves like that, they do not lay flat.
38! Am I right? Am I right? lol

Your quilts are beautiful, my dear.
Guess I'll say 80 now that I'am on here.
I like these too!! Very fun. Man I was so off on the zippers, mayne I will be closer this time. I will try 47, thank you for this chance! Such fun!!
I wouldn't stop you on the Drunkard's Path if I could ....well on the QUILTING pattern anyway. If you were really getting drunk I would try. :)
I say 76!!!
I have always loved the Drunkards path for it's many options in placement.
This quilt is lovely! Its so relaxing walking along the beach, something I love to do.
37 is my guess. Just got back from a short vacay. Are you doing the drunkard's path with the GO cutter? How are you constructing the blocks? Maybe I'll read on and see....
oh I love that quilt top, you are so darn creative......I guess 55 shells and I love that first one.....we have a few in the bottom of the turtle tank, so pretty
I am guessing 45
I love those shells!!
I'll say 39! My folks used to collect sand dollars, bleach them, drill a small hole, mom painted a flower or other desgin on them, added ribbon and make them Christmas ornaments... I love that first shell in these pictures, Sandy
My guess is 59.
I don't want the blocks...I just wanted to comment on the cool looking shells....you'll look back someday at the fond memory of when you lived there and found these.
I love shells and have plenty of them. They are so lovely to look at after cleaning and a little baby oil to shine them up. I would guess 58. It was a very good haul! Sarah
Okay...I'll play...I'll guess 63.
My guess is 41 shells.
Hi Barb- 40 shells - I love the beautiful shells- I have a collection that my mother in law found on the beaches from our Eastern coast. My school kids love looking and touching them. Sounds like a nice way to spend time with your lovely husband.
Great blocks - love the subtlety of your colors.
I would like to guess 78. I want to learn how to do the drunkards path! It's very useful! Love yours.
My guess is 46.
I think everyone has fun with your guessing games :) I will guess 62 for the shells. I have never been very good at guessing though...
Love the shells! My Grandfather used to collect all kinds of fun shells. My favorites were the shells he collected from the South Pacific when he was in the Navy during WWII.

Now if you and I got together we could have alot of fun--your the "drunkards path" and me losing my mind--oh what fun---lol!!!!
