OKAY.....WHERE IS IT?

I looked in the closet and it is not there!!

I looked in the hutch....and it is not there? I can not find it anywhere!!

Not in the book shelf!

Not in my scrap bin......

Didn't roll under my desk (what a mess.....)

Not in the drawers.... So where is it....???????

HEY!!! DID SOMEONE USE THE LAST OF IT AND NOT TELL ME?

No, it is not toilet paper

but just as valuable.

WHAT HAPPENED TO MY STEAM A SEAM?????

I purchased two rolls not long ago (January of this year to be exact)....and this is it!!! How can that be?

Someone call the quilt police....

Someone call 911

because this gal can not live without her Steam a Seam.....

Gotta have it and gotta have it now!!!!

Had to order more Saturday...can't wait for it to get in...was a bad girl and didn't order until the last minute.....how could I do that to myself? If I was someone else and I was me (which I am)...it would be wood shed time....my verion of " Let the beatings commence!"

Maybe steam a seam should come to you like checks, where one roll is tagged that as soon as you start using it, you need to order another.

Oh, how I love my steam a seam too!

LOL. Great post.

Don't you just hate that??? I always put things in a "safe" place and never find it again. Sigh!

Count down it will be there any day now. I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL. But I lucky I can run to our fabric store that is open every day but you have to order ti. Do they not sell it near you.

fun post again, and am so glad to hear that I'm not the only one that has to "look for things" and take so much of SEW time to find them.

Now for us on the main land we would hop in the car and head to the store, poor Barb, yes that would make me nuts!!! Hope it arrives very soon!

Oh... such a familiar frantic search :o) My biggest culprits are elastic, velcro and fusible interfacing, though....

I can honesty say that I did not use up your steam a seam. Actually, I have never used steam a seam before.

Nice scrap basket. Looks like it's a bit overflowing :)

I feel your pain. Got ready to applique' a project Saturday and I've saw larger pieces of toilet paper than the piece of Steam A Seam. It is a bad bad feeling.

Isn't it funny how we get so attached to some of the simpliest things and when they "suddenly" disappear, we are frantic! hee, hee, hee. Love the steam a seam. I feel your pain! ;)

Sorry you lost your steam a seam-the gremlins will bring it back as soon as your new arrives. Happy sewing.

You use this for your fusible applique? I take it you love it :)

Funny once again, usually I find things like this as soon as I go out and buy more of it.
Oh well at least I know I will use it up.

While I was enjoying your post, it occurred to me that YOUR hubby probably shakes his head in amazement at the type of pictures you take....just like MINE often does. He says, "Why are you taking a picture of THAT?" I say, "For my blog"...and he just rolls his eyes OR laughs OR shakes his head OR does all 3!!! Now, though, he usually doesn't even bother asking when he sees me taking an "unusual" photo...as he knows it's for the blog!!! I, too, would like to know if you have used Heat & Bond and if Steam A Seam is actually better. I'd like some advice on that...as I tend to use Heat & Bond Lite but sometimes I don't like it....but I've never used Steam A Seam.

Oh, I'm glad you finally found it. I hate it when you think you have more than you really do. Good thing I'm close to the fabric store, I'd be lost if I couldn't run down to the lqs or Joann's. I hope your package arrives soon.

can't really say i know what that is...unless it's the same as heat n bond...

I had the same sort of search today for something but I found it. I love the steam a seam lite, I just bought two little packets. It's so hard to find here. I think I'll buy online next time.
