LOOK WHO I SAW IN CONCERT TONIGHT!!!

Some of you will say, who cares...and that is okay. I might say that about a few heavy metal bands.

I love the background music, the harmonica, the guitars....I just love Wille. I waved at him and I just know he waved back at me. I thought about lifting my shirt to get his attention but didn't want to clear out the park. HA!!!

Actually, we did not have tickets, we were just listening outside the park and when it was about 15 minutes to the end, my friend said, let's just walk in....so me being the coward I am...said you go first and I will follow. Sure enough, she walked right past the ticket counter and the staff.....so....in I went (I felt so bad....and it felt good to be bad, is that bad?.....trust me, this is as bad as I get and had to have the influence of a friend to get this bad)....that is when I waved at Willie....he may have even winked.....

So now he is on the road again telling all us mommas not to let our boys grow up to be cowboys....maybe the whisky river will take him away? Who knows, but for now....I am going to take my broken wings and fly away to bed....

You Rebel, you! How come we are braver when with someone else? Glad you were able to see Willie for at least 15 minutes and wave. Happy Dreams!

Ha ha... I have never tried that with a concert. I did walk right into a play that was over half done once. My MOM made me do it. She sent me in to find my sister. I was "lost" for a little while. It was the first time I had seen a professional stage production...but definitely not the last. (Oh, I was about 13 at the time)

oh how fun! I can't see or hear Willie anymore without thinking of a fun little song Toby Keith wrote after being on tour with Willie for a bit. In the song, there's a line that says, "I'll never smoke weed with Willie again."

It's a very fun song and basically is a weed smoking version of Willie drinking Toby under the table. lol

Willie puts on a great concert and I am certain he winked at you, that's just the kinda guy he is. He would have been tickled knowing he brought out the "rebel" in you, causing you to "sneeking in" to see his show...or is that walking in to catch the ending, good for you!!!

Good for you Barb! Willie was in Toronto a couple of years ago and friends got to see him. Bet you dreamt of Willie, didn't you?

As a kid, you probably wouldn't have hesitated to walk right in. But then, it wouldn't have been Willie. I like him too. And I'm sure he did wink at you. What fun.

I love Willie and went to see him a couple years ago! It was on my list, I saw Johnny and Waylon so I had to add Willie!

I would LOVE to see him in concert. Did you see him on the Johnny Carson show a few years back? He and Johnnie sang together and they were so fun.

Somehow it seems very appropriate to sneak into a Willie concert! LOL Sounds like it will be a night to remember!

How fun! I love Willie Nelson. I've seen him a few times over the years and he always puts on a great show. And how funny - you and your friend "sneaking" in. That's a hoot!! Glad you got to enjoy it and see him for at least a few minutes.

XOXO,

Cyndi

What fun to hear that concert. It is funny what you did, BUT...since it was at the end, I'm sure it didn't matter like it would have if you tried that in the BEGINNING!!! hehehe

You little rebel you Barb....good on ya for doing it though...as if they could expect you to pay for tickets that late in the concert. I'm sure Willie was waving at you...probably trying to send you back to the ticket area to pay...lmao Just kidding. Hugs Naomi
