Last year a few gals wanted to come over and make quillows. I think I had about 6 in all but at different times.
Before I left for Texas this gal below (Christine) wanted to come over and do some more. Well....since I am here and she is there....Krista (you have met her on my blog) had a sew in and Christine did the following quillow. I think Krista worked on her Kalidascope quilt.
Isn't my friend Beautiful? when I leave Amerika Samoa I am going to make a book from my blog and I will have her picture forever in my book. Can't you tell that I miss my friends now and will when I leave?
Don't you just love the Samoa fabrics? I will say that the Samoan fabric is so much cheaper than the fabrics here in the US....shewee....you can plunk down a bundle on just a few yards of fabric. That was just a statement, not a gripe (hummmm or was it a gripe and not a statement)?

So are Samoan fabrics made locally? Have you been to the factory?
Quillows are so much fun to make and so useful. And the fabric on this one is striking! {and yes, your friend is very beautiful inside and outside...just like you}.

Hi Barb great quillows Do you give your patteren away. If you do could I please have it. A friend has given lots and lots of material from a garage sale and we were thinking about making them and giving them to our mission. Do you think there will be warm enough for them. They do sleep in a building.
Yes,she is lovely, and a lovely memory, sewing with your friend too!!
I think it was a griping statement!!! LOL Thank goodness for the internet or you'd be a lot more sad when you leave AS....because you'd not be as easily able to keep in touch with your friends from there.
I agree the fabric is great!! Quillows are fun! Fast too! I can't believe how much they are at craft shows.Supply and demand I guess.
I love your Samoan fabric! I was thinking I might need to put in a special request/order for some before you leave (if possible). I would love to have a nice variety of colors in my stash. I've decided to make a quilt using the LeMoyne Star block and your gorgeous fabric. The colors are so much fun!
Definitely...a pretty lady like you would have pretty friends. I love the fabrics you brought my sister and me, and will treasure them...gorgeous.
Are you going to go see Lee?
Samoan fabric is lovely, I like the colours and bold prints and love the book idea.
Wasn't it nice of Krista to make me a quillow? lol Surely she knows that purple is my favourite colour...lol Great job to Krista on her quillow. I bet you've stocked up on the fabric by the time you leave hey Barb? Hugs Naomi
