TWIST TO THE SUNBONNET SUE DIE.

One day while looking at the Sunbonnet Sue die this thought came to my mind on how to use the bonnet.

So I pulled out my batiks (actually they are on my baker's rack begging to be used).

White fabric - 14" by 18"
Border is 4" wide (2 eighteen inches for the sides, 22" for the top and bottom, of course, you need to measure your block to get your correct measurements.
Flower is the Sunbonnet Sue hat
Inner Flower - bottom of the hat, I place the fabric just enough to where it covered the bottom part of the hat, then I cut a curve on the one half trying to match the curve on the hat bottom.
Stems - Flower Die stems...the longest one, I just cut until I felt I had a piece long enough and
thin enough.
Pot - Tumbler die.
Heart - largest heart on the heart die
Quilt as desired.

I still have the white to quilt.

Another Towel from the towel swap I am in. Thanks Betsy, looks so wonderful.

I finished quilting this wall hanging, maybe I will have it's binding on by July? I can't seem to find any fabric that matches.....what ever shall I do? (Wink!! Wink!!)

I machine quilted it with just a regular foot. It is hanging from a kitchen chair that is why it looks a bit off.
