DO YOU EVER JUST HAVE A HANKERING TO DO A FUN FAST PROJECT?

Last night I got a hankering to do a small project.

So I went to my Island Batik tub and started digging.

Fabric Line is Island Batik Candy Cane Lane

I had left over squares from this quilt.

12 1/2 " x 36"

Put them together and here you have it.

Now when I tell that this picture does not do the little runner justice you will just have to take my word on it.

I used the Quick Curved ruler to make the curved pieces.  You can go here for the original quilt

I got a call from my cousin who wanted 20 of these microwave bowls.

I made 30 so she could have an option am I crazy or what?

I'm not able to keep up with your "fast" project ideas, but they certainly look fun to me.

Whew! I thought you were going to say the quilt was the fun fast project! LOL. The runner looks great and that cleaned out the extras in your stash. When I finish a quilt now, I immediately look at the leftover pieces and think how to use them so that they don’t just keep piling up. Those bowls are pretty easy and a fast project too, BUT 30?! WOW! I’m sure your cousin was thrilled though.

I get those hankerings to make something fun and fast, but I’m slowing down so nothing is fast. No, you aren't crazy, just obsessed! Lol! Lovely work, all.

My goodness - 30 bowl cozies? I think I have made a total of six - ever!
I can tell that the photo doesn't do that runner justice by looking at the quilt. I love using my leftover blocks in creative ways.
