Husband and son are gone today......
Hummmmm what ever shall I do??
He never told me to behave myself.....
can't get into too much trouble with a banged up foot.
hummmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Are you ready for what I have in store?
See this table.
WRONG!!!
This is my oldest sons's doings. He says...no worries mom, it can be fixed real easy. I don't see him fixing it real easy? It is an embarassement.
I have done this when company comes over... (talk about UGLY)!!!
I have done this.....Oh...so pretty...I just love these place mats and do enjoy using them. It does cover up some of the uglies....
What about this one below? Hummmmm jury is out on this one.
Now I am going to say something that might offend some of you...if so....the views of this post are not necessarily the views of the blog itself (ha!!!). Oh...you didn't think that was funny....well here goes
When I see a table cloth on a table I think GRANDMOTHER!!! Now if you are getting ready to eat and there is a table cloth....wonderful...but to just have one sitting on the table.....
I have seen many home shows that stage a home and the first thing they do is put a table cloth on the table....to me it closes the room off.... I guess I am just a person who likes wood and space. So shoot me now for my opinion.....it isn't worth much.
So stick with me today....I am going to come back and show you an idea that has been swirling around in my head and if it works out...yepeeee...and if not....no harm done...so if you have a round table and want to dress it up...stay tuned.

I don't care for tablecloths either.
That is a beautiful wood top.........I know what you do with it will be wonderful!
I love wood and space too! Can't wait to see what you are going to accomplish today.
Ok what do you have in mind.
Whatever are you going to do, Barb? I can't wait to see.
hmmmmm you have me curious!
I too love the look of wood, yet ironically my gorgeous dining room table is currently covered with a very boring table cloth. LOL! Everyone probably does think of me as a Grandmother. I've always chuckled when people purchase lovely sofas yet cover them. Here I do it to my dining room table. OK, you've inspired me to take off the table cloth.

Can't wait to see what you dream up!
I have a beautiful pecan wood table that looks like that but I don't know what too do because I really only like tablecloth when eating like you. A runner won't cover all of the scratches etc. So I will be looking for your ideas.
I don't use tablecloths - if a table needs covering, it gets covered with a quilt!
