THE CASE OF THE MISSING RABBIT!!!!

So my son is out mowing the pasture and he finds this lone little (I mean little) bunny.  He brings it home and sets it in a pail (large washing tub) in my sewing room.

I would show you the bunny but you will see why after you read the story.

My husband tells him to put something over it.

Of course, he doesn't.

Next morning we can not find the bunny.

We tore things up looking for him.

Found him!  Yea...large squeals of happiness.

He is so cute that I  just have to hold him, speaking soft words of love and the bugger jumps out of my hands. Hits the ground running...bangs into dressers and runs again.  I am laughing and squealing again....he is just too fast for me.

Once again we are in search of the bunny.

Finally find him and well....

he gets a cardboard lid with shoes on top (of course we grab everything we can find that is just at arms reach).

Next morning, bunny is gone again.

Husband and I are in a hurry but we take the time to find him...don't want no dead bunny in my fabric (it is all about the fabric).

We find him and the pesty bugger high tails it again.  We both had to go and great ready to leave but not until every piece of fabric is out of the bottom binds and the room is in disarray.

Find the little grass munch put him back in the tub....make sure there are more shoes on the cardboard...put a note telling my son not to open it up....

Sheweeeee

No worries, my son has someone that will take him that raises bunnies....he will be gone tomorrow but until then we can only hope that he doesn't hop his way in some little cubby that we can not find him.

On a different note!!!!  I am on the last two squares...won't someone  come and finish it for me?

Please....

I hope you keep him safe and located until he is at his new home. Our kids brought one home one time and the little bugger took off and managed to jump into a space under the cupboards. We had to cut a section out of the kick board to get it back out again. Several years later a "loose" snake managed to head for the same spot. NOT a happy mama here with that one. I'm glad the kids are now grown and gone!!!

Funny! I used to have a bunny. My husband finally built a very nice hutch for him in the backyard. They can be pretty destructive in the house.

Your little bun sounds like quite the escape artist. I wonder how if he'll escape tonight!

I had a good laugh at the thought of you all chasing bunny round for hours at a time. Glad you finally found him and that he's off to a nice new home so you won't have to worry about your fabrics anymore.

I used to work for a guy that had a bunny as a pet. They can be housebroken to a litter box. That bunny was nuts!! He'd run through the house like a holy terror!
