CALENDAR QUILT AND GIVEAWAY WINNERS.

I just love hanging these little calendar quilts up each month. I love walking by it, just brightens up my day.
Which leads me to these....

I kept thinking that I should take time out to make the April one....but that is as far as it got...just thinking....

But............... talking with Teresa in Music City via emails (A quilt and a prayer). I read her post here and just loved the wall hanging, not realizing it was from these Calendar quilts.

She emailed me back and well.....

That was just the inspiration I needed. I also got my friend Rhonda involved (I might have mentioned she is moving, her house is empty and well...I guess I have just made it my mission to keep her occupied...lucky her).
This is mine, I will show you hers later and I might add that this picture just doesn't cut it.

So....for the last thirty minutes I have been trying to get you a good picture.

Nope.....
touched this up with the computer..... NOPE!!
EEEESSSHHHHH.....nope!!!
This is the best I can do you, even with the shadows on it...gotta go...it is Saturday morning....it is running around time.....

All of you were so awesome with your comments....the two winners of the "April Showers topper are:

Katiemaytoo Quilts - Katie

Thanks so much. There will be another topper coming next week. Are you getting you fill of them, Hope not!!

This is too cute! I have a hard time with lighting sometimes too.I have the best luck when it is daylight and light coming in the windows...but usually finish stuff later in the day and want to take pictures then!

Some times and with some things it is just hard to get a great picture. I can tell this is awesome anyway!

That is such a cute idea, Barb. I'm glad to see that I am not the only one who struggles with photos.

I JUST finished the summertime one - the one with the ants and the watermelon. All I have to do is stitch a hanging sleeve to the back. I've made the spring flowers one, too. They are both just too much fun. The April one that you show here is my next endeavor!! Thanks for sharing.

No way! I won? That never happens! I'm so excited! Thank you so much! Now I have to find time to make it before the season is over and I'm giving my mom a springy table-topper for Christmas. (hey, it's happened before...)

I actually have been designing some calendar ones too. They are small; quick; and fun. Fun to change each month too.

I love your little umbrella quilt with the big raindrops...so cute! I have these to make(Kim's packet of patterns) and bought it because I saw it awhile back on your blog. I have yet to do anything with it but it's on my list for this year. I guess I'm going to have to rethink my list and put a date on my calendar like the Thimbleberries Day to work on this at least once a month...I love her patterns. Thanks for the inspiration. Congrats to the winners. Keep Rhonda busy and have fun!
