Finished Projects

A few post down, I posted this teddy bear, just wanted to show you what I did with him.

I worked all those words into a tote. Most of you know that I am involved with the 12 and 13 year old girls at church. They have eight values they work on and these are the eight values. I did pink totes last year and this year I plan to do something like this for each girl that comes into my class.

The next tote will not be this big. I have four months before the next gal joins us so it gives me time to think about this.

The bag idea with inspirational words is awesome. I was having a discussion just the other day with my 16 year old grandson about integrity. Do you have a post here about the class? I'd be interested in knowing more about it.
xx, Carol

Hey, any word on what you are doing with those darned dragons?

I love the tote. That is a great way to help the girls remember the values.
Don't you love the things you can do with the embroidery machine?

How perfect for both, Teddy and the values.

What a great idea for the words....a practical way to keep the inspiring words in view. Love, love the hearts on the post below -- so very pretty...I like that one with the blue background the best, but they are all wonderful. Was that your die with the three hearts on it? I'm wondering, cos I have that one.

Love the way the bag turned out. I like how you didn't line the words up.

You're an amazing leader to these girls. I'm sure they love you, not just for your gifts but for the simple fact you care (it's obvious with all the time you give to going the extra mile).

I finally posted the completed mission memory quilt. http://justanotherdayinparadiseagain.blogspot.com/ My quilter caught the vision of the quilt and did a beautiful job. Travis loves it and I'm well-pleased with how it turned out.

The bib is very cute. I love the bag and I know your girls will love it too. What a wonderful idea and great use of the words. Right out there in plain view for them to see and a useful bag too. What a great idea.

I like the hearts too. The round one is my favorite because of the shape and the background color but I like the other one too. You are just rolling along in this new year!

Cute projects Barb. I've been looking at Valentine projects today and I love your heart table topper on the previous post. Can you tell me what size it is? Thanks and Happy New Year!!
