MEET HOOTCINTA THE OWL! HOOT HOOT!!

Upon visiting Buttonmad I found this cute cute tutorial for this owl, you can find it here. Yes, I know (if you read my post yesterday) this is pitfall #3.

I am always looking for projects for the Young women and I think we are going to do this this Wednesday.
In keeping with the spirit of using ButtonMad's tutorial, I put one of their buttons on the bum....

Now this bum looks about as broad as mine.....can you guess why? Hootcinta can not stay out of the M & M's....
GET OUT OF THOSE.........................those are MINE!!!!

Trying to make up for it by lifting the fabric cutter...... Silly owl....doesn't she know it will take more than a few ups and downs to work off those M & M's?

I guess I should take my own advice.....

I did a few more bags....

Maybe if I go up and down the stairs a few times I can have some more M & M's...... ???

This will really be a great project for the group. That owl could be a dead duck if it doesn't lay off your M&Ms, some things are definitely off limits LOL.

what an awesome young women's leader you are! So fun. I laughed about the M&Ms. For some reason when I sew I don't snack or drink pop, only water. Maybe it's bz I'm afraid of soiling the fabric, who knows. Anyway, you get me on the computer (which I work on) and it's an awful habit. I love how you can laugh at yourself bz it makes me smile and rings so true with my own little self! Your owl and bags are really cute too.

Maybe if you had overstuffed Hootcinta, she will get the message and stay off you M&Ms!

lol :) I'm bad with M&M's too. Had to limit myself to only having a little bag of them when I'm at a movie. Love Hootcinda!! I should make her a cousin to go with Dev's "What a Hoot" quilt I'm working on!

Cute owls, my big!!!!! comes from ice cream, I love ice cream and especially Blizzards. We moved into two floor apartment 8 months ago and I chase my grandson up and down three days a week but other then firming somethings up not much difference. I think it has to do with age so I just say enjoy! Blessings Sandra

They will love making those owls. They will each get their own personality too, I am sure.

M&Ms are my downfall too. SIGH!!!

Thank you so much for this post Barb...and especially for the laughs...we love M and Ms in south Africa too...
My children say it's my sweet tooth...actually I have 32 of them!
Would happily live on chocolate alone...
And almost do!

Forgot to say...when Tam was posting the owl on our blog she was going to write
Pippa has nothing on my behind

Kates younger sister that is...

Sure chocolate isn't part of her diet!

I can help keep Hootcinta out of the M&M's. Just send the M&M's to my house and I will keep them all safe. ;-)

Cute post Barb! Love Hootcinta, she's adorable! My weakness is chocolate, once I take one bite I'm a goner. Yes, I'm a Choco-holic.

I believe stairs do = M & M's!!

Hoot hoot! Let me know when you figure out the ratio of trips up and down stairs per handful of M&M's...inquiring minds want to know!

I wonder if this is a male owl trying to eat all the M&M "eggs"? We need to do a study to understand why? Let's eat all the M&Ms as part of our study and see if that helps us understand why Hoochinta wanted all the M&Ms in his tummy.

Cute owl! :)

Love the owl - he should be taught that M&Ms are for quilters not owls. Remember of the old commercials where the owl ate tootisie pops? Oh showing my age for sure.
