I HAVE ENOUGH TO DO!!!

So when I was at my mothers she gave me this screen....can any of you take a quess on what she wants me to do with it?
I told her I have enough projects and that she had just told me how people give her things to do and she has enough to do and now she is pawning off on me one of her projects..... Mom...."I HAVE ENOUGH TO DO".....but seeing how she birth me.......gave me breath.....

And she gave me this awesome pot...you all know how I love things with a lid.... Actually, this has been promised to me way before I went to Samoa....and now it has a place in my home.... I LOOOOVVVEEE IT>>>>>Thanks Mom!!

Actually, I took a look at the directions for this screening and I am excited to do this project. I got this on my way to Texas, not knowing that I was going back to my mothers' on the way home.....so....I had a chance to sit and read...and if I had a sewing machine that I could crank....I would have been in the back seat sewing away....now I am home and soooo excited to work on this project and many others....as long as I can keep my mind and hands in one directions instead of gandering about doing other things....

you know 'what's one more thing' I find that my 'one mores' usually either add a skill I use again or give inspiration for a future TO DO or just plain ol turn out to be fun-- hope you enjoy the project as much as mom did giving birth! cw

Wow, that's a wonderful pot. I love it and I'm sure it was worth waiting for. I've used screen for a variety of projects. My beach bag pattern uses it but it also makes great zipper bags. Can't wait to see what you're going to do with it.

I bet you are going to do some machine embroidery work on it. It's fun to do. Anxious to see your creative talent come to life for your MOM.

Glitches on blogger have been resolved for me and can finally leave comments again...sheesh!

LOVE the pot too!! Hmmm, screen? I will have to wait!

I am thinking that the screen would make great shopping bags. But not knowing the texture or weight of it, it is hard to tell.
I could see some embroidery on it also....maybe done with yarn or perle cotton. -but then you said "sewing machine" hmmmm.
Oh the possibilities. How about a very lightweight jacket for summer wear. Stylish and keeps the flies off of you. LOL.

The red pot is a hit!

The only thing I can think of is zippered bags. I'm looking forward to the big reveal!
