HIGH JACKED BLOG

Sorry for the second post but Hetty of Crafts and Stuff had her blog compromised and high jacked by someone. She can no longer get into her blog and have control over it.

Her new address is here

If you have time, go to her blog, she will explain what happened....and if you have been a blogging friend....that is her new home.

Hugs this day!

Why in the world would anyone want to highjack a crafting blog?!?!? My Yahoo account was hacked once. They changed every bit of personally identifying info like my location, my profession, my birthdate, so that when I called customer support and they asked me the security questions, which included my birthdate, of course my answer was wrong. It took me hounding and hounding Yahoo and finally I took a picture of myself standing in front of a bookcase in my home office, holding a sign that said "I AM 'yahoo name'" I sent that picture to their security team and told them to look at my pictures briefcase on Yahoo and see a picture of that exact bookcase, with the same books and pictures on it.

I got my account back and they changed my birthdate so that even I can't change it.

I'm wondering if it was the google account that was highjacked rather than just the blog that was targeted. I feel for Hetty, that was quite a loss.
