My version of TULIPS IN BLOOM by Vicki from The Pickledish Patch

I just love this dish!!!

I recently won this pattern and 2 others over at "The Pickledish Patch"

I made two but added my own touch.

The disappointing thing about these wall hangings is that the green in the photo are not what they are in person....looks odd in the photo.

Then....I have no backing fabric...could use a sheet? That is one bad thing about not having a stash....and it is tooooooooooooo stinking cold to get out. Although, my car is in the shop and will have to go and pick it up later...do I want to...no way...will I...boss man says definietly!!!

ch..ch..ch..ch..ch..ch..ch.....that is my teeth chattering... heat was set on 60.....ch..ch..ch...

I have a canister set and a large bowl with the exact pattern on them. I saw your piece in the corner of one of the pics you posted and was going to comment on it but never did. Happy quilting!

I too love that dish. AND your great blocks.

I love that dish too! What a cute pattern. Since your husband is having you go pick up the car in these frigid temperatures, I think you should reward yourself with a stop at the LQS. ;)

Girl, I don't know how you are doing that in those temperatures. I am in Southern California and we are freezing and it is 60 outside. LOL!!! I have my heater set to 72 and wear a sweater. I think our blood is too thin for anything below 75.

OH! I forgot to mention how nice your wall hangings are. I think a sheet would work fine.

uh, 60 is too cold a temp to keep your thermostat in this weather! I can see 68 but not much lower in this cold. Our house has HORRIBLE insulation and so we have to set the temp at 70-72 depending. Our bill is way too high for our little space but that's the trade off for a cheap rental, I suppose.

I like your wall hanging. Looks good. I think I'm on my way to JoAnn's soon since I need a GO Dye. 2.5" strip. I think it's in the store and on sale right now. I think tomorrow if work allows.

Barbara, I have been so cold too. And I am in FLORIDA!! Your wall hanging look great! I think for a wall hanging a sheet would work fine.

Very nice, love it. We are at -16C right now, kinda cold. Oh forgot, you could use a sheet for backing. Hugs

I like both of your versions. It's a neat pattern.

60? No wonder your teeth are chattering!! 60 is for sleeping. 68 is for sewing!!

I hate it when my colors don't work, which is often. Very annoying. You have my sympathy, but we must post pictures, I suppose. Quilting is so visual.

Thanks for stopping by. I edited my post to add that these particular sea turtles are on the endangered species list and, if I remember right, human touch can kill them. I may have the last part wrong but I think that's what he said. How's everything going anyway? I'm so happy to hear from you again.

It looks great Barb.

they look great!! Love the little dish, and I'm with everyone else, you have got to bump the heat up to 68 during the day.

Hi Barb: 70-72 degrees, and I live in Canada where cold is our business!
I know the green is probably bright in person, it happens with the photos downloaded at times.
Your blog looks different to me today, parts of the sidebars were right over the writng page.
Blogger is wierd these days...or is it me?
