WHAT DO YOU THINK?

I think if you were to see this, you would go...wow, that is bright. They say babies are stimulated by bright...well...consider the receipent stimulated.

I really wanted blue to take the place of the white in the sashing but don't have enough. Would love a blue border....once again....not enough. So....it will be yellow....

This quilt was a snapp to put together. I know that Accuquilt has talked about getting a 8 1/2 inch die, and if they do, this would be even a bigger snap. The appliques were done so much faster than by hand. I am just thrilled.....and you will be too come Friday when you see what Accuquilt is coming out with next! Become a friend on facebook, or go to their site!.

Okay, so I have been harping alot on Accuquilt....but soon very soon, they will be delivering something fun to the public and I just don't want anyone to miss out!

Then we will get back to the regularly scheduled programs...this is just a short interruption.

the ducks are classic and adorable. I have been trying to win a GO but looks like I am going to have to get out the check book if I want one for myself.- cw

Barb, I like it, it's so cute. I have the BABY die but still need to get the duck. I can't wait till Friday....

I love the ducks too. Very cute. And I'm anxious to see what AccuQuilt will introduce. But while you convinced me on the benefits of the 6 1/2" die, which I would have never thought I would want, I'm struggling with the value of an AccuQuilt 8 1/2" die. So I hope if they come out with it you are the first to get one as I'm sure you'll share great insights to inspire others on what we can create with it (vs a manual cut). Sometimes I just can see the benefit until I give it a try...and I find this funny as you probably know that I do love AccuQuilt. Just not sure about an 8 1/2" die.

Even though I'm very fond of all white, hee, hee, hee, I find baby quilts to be most cheeful when they are bright and I think this is wonderful.

Barb, your quilt is adorable, love the blue and yellow together. How about make a scrappy binding with blue and yellow? Do you have enough of the blue? You could always use another blue print in a similar color. Love the alphabet too, is that another die?

What do I think? I think you, your sister, Darlene, Joslyn, Joanne, and Lois need to coordinate a date for a cruise....an entire week with just quilters....sewing machines....fabric cutters....music.....and all the quilts that get finished go to charity as soon as we get off the boat. How fun would that be? Lets go....but I stink at planning such events....you girls put it together and I'll move heave and earth to be there....LOL. We'll invite all the blog followers and I bet we fill an entire ship.

Hugs,
Kelly
