So.....you see all these zippers. I guess you could say I have a zipper fetish....not really. Here in Amerika Samoa they are only 35 to 50 cents a zipper.... The ones in the pack are from the US.
Why am I showing you zippers? Well.....you tell me how many are in this pile and you be the first to guess....I will send you a little something....nothing big because a few weeks ago....I had a whopping 62 dollar postal bill. So I guess you can say, I am zipping my postal wallet.
Notice the little baggies, at one time I tried to be organized putting the same sized zipper in baggies....hummmmmmmm that went by the way side....

Here they are in the box that I have them in....any guesses yet?
I got my Steam a Seam on a roll...We will see how long it last.
Maybe I spend to much time on my own? When I was visiting my mother, she would give me weird looks....I told her I talk this way when I am alone....it is a habit....anyone looking in on me and see me dancing around with fabric, smelling it, singing, commenting....well....if it wasn't for my husband, I would probably already be in the loony bin......gotta keep that man....I have a few sons that call me a weirdo.....I will have to look out for those ....they will be the first to take me in.

Hmmmm maybe 57 zippers??? Have ytou thought of making one of those pencil cases that is made all from colored zips the same size? Very cute - love them when the kids have them in class. Will make one myself one day! You've got enough zips to make a few of them!! :)

I say 47. Here I now have to go nearly 40 miles to buy all sizes of zippers....so that is one thing you have in AS that is better than what I have here! lol

I also collect zippers. I've used them on children's teacher quilts, with buttons, pockets, etc. I also buy the steam a seam by the roll, and like it a lot. While I'am making a comment, I might just as well say 200 zippers. Thank you for sharing, Barb.

Well, I'll be the first to HAZARD a guess - if they're all in that shoebox, I figure somewhere around 45 zippers.
I have an ulterior motive here, you know. I'm 'on the hunt' for a really long zipper in pink. Or turquoise. :snerk:

I don't know what you are making (?little wallets?).... but with that steam a seam on a roll- something with applique AND a zipper!! LOL-
do you ever use fusible web? I want to make a wallet- and I would like to use the selvedges of fabrics (seems to be quite popular now) thinking of sewing them to the fusible, then ironing....any thoughts? Hope you had agreat shopping trip! Sandy

I was at work today and my sister brought in a few pairs of pant that needed to be fixed. then she sadi a zipper would have to be fixed I said I know where I can get one I can ask my friend Barb she has many zippers LOL
