101 WAYS TO USE A HONEY BUN?

Here is my square for the Jelly roll quilt along. I am using the Bistro jelly roll sent to my by Quilts by Debi, I just love the colors, thanks again Debi.

Okay, so Gene emailed me and asked what I was going to do with the left over pieces from my honey bun table runner....he suggested a hot pad.

Actually, I had thought to do segments on different ways to use a honey bun, hot pads were in there but....with the extra pieces I made this little cosmetic bag.

Then I wanted to make a matching tote...well....bad sew day...bad bad day...nothing I touched turned out after the jelly roll square....I started a tote...it looked horrible so I cut it up and got this.. to match the cosmetic bag.
I still have more to make from the tote gone wrong. Is that like a love gone wrong? Have this stupid song in my mind...okay where was I???

Then the scraps from the tote, I made this trivet, as you can see, it is not finished yet...I am stopping on these projects for the day...sheweeeee I am just a girl who wants to have fun....and when all goes south...well...there aint no fun to be had.....

Maybe I will just go and cut some little baskets out?

Your jelly roll block looks great! I must work on mine today. And your cosmetic bag and trivet are pretty! It's great to be able to use up leftovers! :0)

I love your little cosmetic bag and the other things are nice too. I don't see where anything went wrong. Are you being too hard on yourself? Just wondering.

I'm on my way to get fabric for the sashing, background, and backing for my jelly roll BOM squares. Yours looks really nice. Sorry the other stuff was giving you fits yesterday!

yours is the first square I saw that doesn't have white sashing, I like the blues. The bags from the leftover runner material are cute, you are sooooo clever

Yes we need to learn to stop when things go south.
Me I am still 'learning' that as I will just keep messing up! Darn hard head of mine!!!

Sorry, your day did not go as planned. Hope I wasn't bugging you too much and was the cause of the slow down. Thanks, again for all your help yesterday.

Some days you just have to put everything up and maybe go for a walk or read a book or something.
