MORE LIGHT FOR MR. PFAFF

Notice how happy Mr. Pfaff is? He can now see.....and yes, it is for Mr. Pfaff....(it is not because I am aging), it is not because I can't see good enough....really....what did you think? Is it always about me (smiling....because we all know it is).....in my universe, it is all about me.....so welcome to my universe!!

I have to tell you about my new best friend forever, Kelly over at I have a notion, she sent me a light a few weeks ago, several of you asked me how I liked it. I wasn't able to respond because it was an internation plug so I had to send it back.

She felt horrible, she immediately sent me another one, even sent me five dollars for the cost of my shipping the old one back (I told her not tooo). So you all know that she stands by her word and she wants everyone to be happy. I am very happy, I will enjoy this light.

It has little clips to clip the cord around the back of the machine and out of the way. Go to Kelly, tell her you want one and check out her other items too. She is also raising money for the Haiti victims....what a big heart.

Next you see that I was goofing with the heart that is shown over on the side bar, just click on that if you want the tutorial. Well...these are done without the lace and the decrative stitches and......I sewed all around the heart and cut an opening in the back to pull the right sides through. I will just glue the lace that loops for hanging it over the hole. I am going to make some more and will show those later. Don't know if I want to cut into my good fabric again, maybe I will use my not so good...save the good for something awesome.

Don't forget about my little giveaway below and also....give me your birthday if you haven't already.....the drawing for Feb. will be soon....

Your hearts are so cute! Wish I had seen that light before I place my order with Kelly. Oh well, I will probably just have to go shopping again!

A question about the light.....is it affixed permanently to the machine? (I sometimes have to pack my machine in a travel case to go to a class and don't know if it would be possible with the light there.) The hearts look cute without the lace, too.

The extra light will be nice, Barb. We can all use that.

I love your sweet hearts. They will be a nice addition for Valentine's Day.

I'm glad to hear you like your bendable light. I bought mine many, many years ago at a show, when they first came out...and it still works wonderfully. Love it. I do think IHAN (http://ihavea-notion.com/store/category_7/LIGHTING-MAGNIFICATION.htm) has the best price ever...far better than what I paid for at the show years ago, and better than what I've seen elsewhere. This light really makes a difference in sewing pleasure!
Enjoy!

I HAVE to get my bright light stuck to my machine. I've had it for weeks and just haven't put it on. You've convinced me to get going and do it.

The brown/pink/red fabric you used for your hearts is just yummy. I can taste a chocolate covered cherry in my mind, just looking at it.

I have 2 of those. One on my Janome & one still sitting in ti's package.

It's awful when you have more than 2 or 3 machines & can't decide WHICH machine to put the 2nd light one......just awful!!

I am thinking of perhaps just buying additional clips to use the light on multiple machines.
