DISAPPEARING NINE PATCH

Remember this disappering nine patch? Well......I finally decided on how to finish it. Now it just needs to be quilted....lacking motivation.

I really am feeling better than I have in weeks but now I am lacking motivation. What is up with that?

Got the fabric from Jane, she does carry alot of wonderful fabric.

My friend wants me to be in charge of donations for her non-profit organization that will take over after the red cross leaves. She was so shocked at all the generosity from my quilting friends and feels since I am already distributing the items to just take the position. I just don't know? Will have to think about it, I have the cub scouts and then in the womans organization at church...we will just have to see.

Just wanted some of you to know, there were four quilts donated by Linda D. I have given three away. This family that has two kids and expecting a third lost everything. The husband was home when the tsunami hit, he just grabbed his babies and ran. He felt bad because there were others that needed help and he was not able to.

Then a little gal lost her mom and her sister was taken alot of school supplies (she just loves school supplies and the cuter the better. Then she is coming over tomorrow to pick through the rest of the stuff to see what she would like.

The beanie babies that Patty sent are going to....it is so amazing how these items are bringing joy ino peoples lives....thanks sooo much.

Warm wishes going your way. Thanks for all you do. Let your heart guide you to make your decision. But I"m sure you'd be successful if you decide to take this lead role.

You are a very busy lady. So much sadness in the world, it just makes me want to cry.

You are doing a wonderful thing!

Your new quilt is pretty. Your layout makes it look like those whirlygig quilts i have been seeing alot lately. Your way is probably much easier I'm sure.

"Quiltosity" -- my word for the generosity of quilters -- is alive and well. Beanie babies, really?! Let me know if you can still use some of these!

Good finish on the D9P. You will get your mojo back when things start to settle down. I know what a good heart you have Barb, but if you have doubts about the lead position, don't do it as it is a sign that you are getting overwhelmed and there is only so much a loving heart can take before you become tramatized too.

You are doing an awesome job there and would be the perfect person to take over the project, Barb.

I'm glad the items are helping some of these people. As for taking the position your friend wants you to take.....if you are already so involved in other things and think this might be too much, then tell her no and stick to it. There is no harm in saying no when there is a good reason to say no!!! If you undertake too much, that won't be good for you...and you do have to consider your own well-being!!!

I just can't imagine the devastation there and all that so many have lost...it's wonderful that you can help!

Your DNP looks great! I just love that pattern...it's one of my favorites.

I just wanted to tell you that my email is constantly being sent back undelivered, so I am writing you. I am busy sewing, getting ready for my new CWBQ, and getting all the Christmas gifts ready.
Just thought you should know. I don't know how to resolve that.
