?##@@!!##@@?????

Some of you are probably looking at this and saying "What the SCRAP is that?"

Well...it is my surprise for you in a few weeks....but.....I am not happy with how it is turning out, so I have already taken off two borders...you guessed it...."SCRAP"!.....going to the scrap bin.

So, if you happen to be coming by and leisurely reading my blog and want to just head on out to another blog...feel free to do so...but.....one word of advice, it would be to your advantage to comment on this. That is all I have to say about that. Don't you just love Forest Gump???

Oh, and I can tell you another thing...here is a hint,,, KONA BAY (not all those fabrics are kona bay but some are)...if you are interested in Kona bay fabrics....check out my nieces blog "INCH WORM FABRICS", infact, that is why I am making said item......for her wonderful grand opening in a few weeks (I think I can get it done before them??????).....

I think I can!!

I think I can!!

The little quilter that could!! and will!!

Hmmm, are you sure ripping was involved? It just looks like a pile of noodles or worms or whatever they call them. :) Good luck untangling them! :))

I just love your expression "What the Scrap is that" - I will so totally use that, thank you! I know you will persevere and make something wonderful...

Had to go double check and yes! I do have some of the same wisteria fabric! Or at least it sure clooks the same.

Ha...I did some ripping today too. I took off a binding and replaced it. (not a fun chore)

I like the lavender and green together.

Well, sometimes you sew, and sometimes you unsew. But then, if you resew and it makes you happy, it's all a box of chocolates, huh? Hope your new seams seem correct next time... :-} pokey

Hello Barb, looks like we both had a day like that...unfortunately I could not scrap the blocks I was working on... as that was all the fabric I had...I bought a piece of Kona fabric on ebay two years ago...with a kimono featured...Jessies boyfriend loved it so I made him a quilt with it...Hugs Lyn

Pretty fabrics!!! I love ol' Forrest!! Life is like a box of chocolates...you never know what you will get, but as long as you are willing to take a border off here and there I'm sure it will be wonderful.

HI Barb,
Thanks for coming to join as a follower to my blog. I am honored that you would choose to do so.

I am sure that whatever you are making is going to be beautiful.
And scraps are wonderful- one person's scraps is another persons treasures to make more quilts with.

I have been thinking about you and yours and hopeing that things are beginning to work and get easier for people. What a challenging time for all of you.

Regards,
Anna

can't wait to see how it turns out. I am hopeless at using up scraps. I amass them all thinking of a project worthy of pretty scraps...only, I never find a project and i end up with a scrap mountain.
