I made a few variations to her quilt, but...that is not the problem. My husband does not like this quilt....so before I do another stitch on it, I am wondering if I should continue it or start over? All that is left is blanket stitching around the letters.
Please note, that we do not drink in our house, nor do we promote the use of alcohol. Like I said in a previous post, this is for a friend and co worker from where I used to work. She is known for her leaving the bank and going to Am Vets...for her drinking and it was quite the joke at work, with her there....don't want you to think we were talking bad about her behind her back. She was just the party gal in her 60's.

It's a cute quilt and won't be staying in your home, so finish it!
At my house you just never know what you'll find in a wine glass..grape juice & gingerale with a drop of ice cream!..lady fingers and pudding..maybe hubby can imagine the glasses are filled with something else?
I think the deciding factor on this quilt should be....will it be liked by the gal who is to receive it? If it will, then it doesn't matter whether or not your hubby likes it...as it is not going to be HIS quilt. LOL
Ditto on what Pat said...You are almost done with it and it would be a shame to just chuck it since you don't want to keep it.

I see no reason to NOT finish it. As the others said, it isn't staying in the house to annoy the hubby. Finish, get it gone and it will be LESS bother to him.
I think it is nicely designed. The colors are so vibrant that they sing.

since you are giving it away, finish it. I love the colors you have selected. I hope to make one for my son some day since he is a bartender.
I say finish it, I am pretty sure the person you made it for will like it (otherwise you wouldn't have made it for her). And of course I like it, after all that's one of the fabrics I bought LOL
Hi I'm like you but I know it will be very welcomed at a few of my friends homes. If I would make one for them they would just love it. That I might have to consider to do one for my best friend. I think finish it. She will love it

Yes, finish it. It's very clever. Husbands don't have to like everything we make. Sometimes we have other reasons for making something, and this sounds like one of them.
