YELLOW BRICK ROAD

I am helping someone out, she needs several baby quilts and her time is limited, so I told her I would made two tops for her. Here is the first one.

This pattern was so much fun because nothing is set in stone, you are given alot of choices in how you want it laid out and how you want to sew the fabric squares. I want to do another one, but I need to stay the course. I might do another one like this???? Still up in the air. Thanks to Jane's Fabrics and Quilts. This was a kit I ordered off ebay but no pattern came with it. I thought I was going to get the yellow brick road pattern, I thought wrong and Jane graciously sent me the pattern. Do I need to buy some stock in Jane's blog? Sounds like I have an investment in it since this is the second post for her in a few days time.

Yellow brick road is a fun pattern to do. When I made it, I was using scraps leftover from a previous quilt, and I didn't have enough of the long strips, so I pieced three little ones together to make a long one. No one knew any different and it turned out great. Love your little top - I love orange!

Happy quilting,
Susan

Barb, I don't know how you do as much as you do in a day. I always feel so inadequate when I see all that you do and then realize how little I'm getting accomplished! I really realize how inept I am when I see how much you can accomplish in the same 24 hour period that I have.
None the less, your baby quilt top is just so cute!

Jane is on my list of loving what she has and if I ever order I will be ordering from her. Now that I know she has the yellow brick road pattern, I'm ordering.
With the exchange here in Canada, we pay $1.30 for the US dollar, so I am careful with my pennies.
Love that pattern and your colours
