YOU WILL NOT BELIEVE THIS!!! TRUST ME!!!
Well...twice now I have tried to do stitchery and twice now it fades before I even get one tenth of the way through. So frustrating. So today, I went in search of the "Papermate Flair" pens....it has to be the green ones.
She suggested that we try it out on scraps first....so I did...twice
Here is the results....
I marked the square....
I put hand soap on the letter (sorry for bad picture)
here is the square with the soap on it....
Here is me washing the square, another bad picture.....but you can see the B faintly.
All stinking gone!!!! Like I said, I did this twice....I am sold!!!
It is worth the investment and do go over and see Jennifer's tutorial.

BREAK TIME!!! CARE TO JOIN ME?
Twenty-one stars I will add. We decided that I was to do the applique around the stars for the "Service Banners" the young women are doing for a service project, they will do the rest.
"Pigtales and Quilts" gave me these wonerful items from a giveaway she was having. Thanks so much Thearica!
I tend to get disinterested when I do the same things over and over...so this is BREAK TIME for me in doing those stars....I think I have 11 more to do...
Maybe I will have a chocolate chip cookie.....now here is something funny. I always try to sneak something healthy in the food I made. I put chia seeds in these cookies...and then I save some back for me and put flax seed in mine (along with the chia seeds).
My son sees these cookies and goes...WHY...WHY did you try to make healthy cookies?????
Trust me...they taste just as good. Just a little added fiber. HA!!!
I could never sneak one over on them....applesauce in the cake, baby prunes in the frosting, chicken broth instead of milk in mashed potatoes....they always find me out. Gives me a chuckle!!!

TUMBLER QUILT.
Infact, if you are wanting to do one of these quilts and don't have the die or Go Cutter, you can go to Inchworm Fabrics.
Jeanette is having a giveaway of tumblers cut out of Western Fabrics.
This quilt is 78 1/2" by 65" and was quilted on my Horizon (Janome). This machine makes doing this a breeze. I will confess I had trouble with the tension and had to adjust it. Even took it to the shop to have them take a look at it. Once it got going, there was no stopping us.
This Horizon has a stop and start button.....it takes a little getting use to but oh my goodness....it is awesome when you are trying to quilt....it is almost as good as a stitch regulator, instead of trying to control your foot and hands, you only have to worry about your hands....

WHAT GETS YOU OUT OF BED IN THE MORNINGS?
So....this morning I was having a hard time getting motivated until......the light bulb went off. The washer is free......and now is the best time to do my bathroom rugs.....
Oh you thought it was going to be sewing that got me out of bed. HA!!!!! Nope...my bathroom rugs.....
They are outside drying as we speak.
Crazy huh???? What gets you out of bed?
Today I am working on Service Banners.
Just click on the "Service Banners" above and it will take you to a site that will explain it to you.
I have one hanging in my window with two stars on it. Meaning I have two service men in the army.
I am working on one to teach to the young women when they go to camp. I cut my stars out with my Go cutter...easy....easy...easy... Now back to what I was doing.
Just finished it.
When you think of me today, think of my clean bathroom rugs....AHHHHHH

I am always looking for projects for the Young women and I think we are going to do this this Wednesday.
Now this bum looks about as broad as mine.....can you guess why? Hootcinta can not stay out of the M & M's....
Trying to make up for it by lifting the fabric cutter...... Silly owl....doesn't she know it will take more than a few ups and downs to work off those M & M's?

THE PITFALLS OF BLOGGING!!!!
Pitfall #1
When going to a blog be very careful, tell yourself you have enough projects or you will fall into that endless pit of wanting to do too many things and never get anything done.
Example #1
You see this basket? Of Course you do! Well...I saw this over at Jane's Fabric and Quilts. It is suppose to be a stitchery, you can check hers out by clicking on her name. The actual design is by Madame Samm.
Well....I just loved the strawberries and I stewed over it for days....and then saw it again and decided to do a stitchery...but when I got the actual design I thought it would be amazing in applique. So....Off I went on another tangent.....
I do not like the fabric I chose for the ribbon, it has black lines in it and conflicts with the black blanket stitching...thinking of taking it out.
Pitfall #2
When going to blogs...tell yourself that you have enough toys and tools of the trade, you do not need one more thing....tell yourself NO! NO! NO! NO more!
Example #2 I saw this while visiting Madame Samm via Quilt Taffy.
Quilt Taffy is another one of those blogs that I just love to visit but....I should have seen it coming....a TRAP!!! Oh yes, when she said to visit Madame Samm...I should have just said NO! But I went here.
Corrie did a wonderful tutorial on using this glue....and well...I just couldn't help myself. I ordered two bottles. I will have to confess, I just love this glue and I think it will make my binding quilts so much easier as well.
The moral of this story......BEWARE!!!! HIDE the CREDIT CARD......FORGET your PAYPAL code......I am just warning all of you...don't go blaming me!!
Disclamier: This is not a paid advertisement for Madame Samm, Quilt Taffy, Jane Fabrics, just lots of creativity wrapped up in a fun time!
