JUST A PUTTERING OVER HERE.

I finally got the fourth row on this quilt using Island Batik fabrics.  Fits nicely on a queen size bed.

Well....I believe I am getting kinda lazy, I am wondering if I should just put the last border on and forget it or should I continue on making it big enough for my king size bed?  Hummmm so that is the question of the day.

I will say that this fabric is soooooooooooooo awesome.  This picture does not do it justice.  also..if you look in the middle of the stars, no middle is the same.  It is amazing what one can do with half squares.

On a side note:  My aunt turns 100 tomorrow and she doesn't even look like it.  She still lives in her own home and for the most part has her senses about her.

Beautiful quilt Barb! And Happy birthday to your aunt. My FIL turned 95 this year and it's amazing to me that he has been alive for almost 100 years. Enjoy the birthday. I'm sure there will be lots of celebrating.

I guess if you need a King, and especially because it's of your favorite fabrics, you should enlarge it. Otherwise, it's beautiful as is. :) congrats to your aunt! My Mom is 95 and still in her own home too. Amazingly strong women!

The size choice is yours, but it is a lovely quilt and if you want to put it on your king size bed, you should make it larger.

I love the idea of doing the centers of all the stars differently. Great job!

I get to that point when you love a quilt but want to be done. Maybe come back to it you don't have to decide right away do you?

Very pretty! I have a king sized bed but no quilt for it. Someday...
My MIL will turn 96 in January. She still lives in her own apartment in a senior retirement home but is getting very forgetful of late. Still completely mobile and dresses for her daily activities including an exercise class!
