Pinwheel

So yesterday after my not so happy sewing with the quilt/tablerunner..... I decided to put it aside and well.....

I used the charms that were left over to make this pinwheel quilt.

I did my pinwheels the way they did here

This was so fast and easy....

No way!!! This is the first time I've seen pinwheels done this way. Cool way to use charms.

Thank you for the link. My pinwheels (did it just once) never turned out neatly. You make me feel so inadequate. As if I am just sitting around not doing anything or rather not doing enough!

What a great little quilt! Did you have any trouble with the bias edges on the pinwheel block?

I had forgotten that way. I learned this when I took an online course as a "reviewer" for them. I then got to give a course on my blog. She has several other videos on youtube.

Your quilt looks great Barb!

Barb, thanks for the link. I really, really love your border fabric. Did I mention that I love that fabric!!!

THis is adorable in the colors with that border. Hey, Barb - did you find it tricky to have the bias on the outer edges of the pinwheels?

You amaze me on how much you can do in a day. What an adorable quilt. I have seen that video before but I totally forgot all about it. Now I know what to do if I ever get another charm pack.

Pinwheels are my favorite block and your quilt looks wonderful. I've used that tutorial before and I love how easy and fast it is. I bet it feels good to finish something and actually like it after the troubles you had yesterday.

Your quilt is just beautiful!!! I learned how to make those "pinwheels" in a class a few years back.. A really great method for making a scrap quilt!
