SOME OF MY MOST FAVORITE THINGS AT CHIRSTMAS TIME.

There is no tree up at my house yet!!

But I did drag out some of my creations

                                                                    I totally love.

This one above is sitting on my island in the kitchen.  It was made using the Accuquilt Go.

This is sitting on my dining room table and the fabric here is Henry Glass.

This tree is sitting on my end table in the living room

Now this one above is one of my most favorite.  It is a Thimbleberry design.
Sitting on the other end table.

This is on my coffee table.

I think I am going to swap this one above with the one on the kitchen island...

This is another favorite and usually sits out way past Christmas.

This is what is hanging in my sewing room.

I just love pulling out all of my Christmas decorations.  I am getting way too many....might have to start giving some away.

I am really excited about this months Island Batik Project.   It is called Table Scraps.....

How fun is this going to be!!!!

ANOTHER UFO

This is what is on my sewing table today. This is a Round Robin that my sister and nieces did while I was in Samoa. I think it is about time to get this puppy done!

Now....several of you had the idea that I quilted this quilt in a day.....tis not so. I in no way meant to imply that I did. I had the middle already done. This is a project I was working on for Thimbleberries Sew day.

I finished the binding yesterday afternoon...whohooooo. How do you like the yellow binding?
Also, I have a Janome Horizon, the neck is about five inches bigger (guessing) than the regular sewing machine so it makes it easier to stuff and fluff. I will say that I did do a King Sized quilt on my Bernina, it did prove difficult. Leah Day and Patsy Thompson do their quilts on their domestic machines and they do a fantastic job. I do mediocre at best.

I wonder if they have a boat load of chocolate while working on their quilts? They make it look so easy.

THIMBLEBERRIES SEW DAY YESTERDAY@@

You will have to forgive me, I can not find the full picture of this quilt for the life of me...and I have no more time to spare at the moment.

I did not forget Thimbleberries sew day.....I worked on this quilt. I am quilting between the trees until I can figure out what to do next.

Well...Julie over at Having Fun Quilting just became a consultant for My Lasy Dazy .... this sounds so interesting and I just thought I would send you over to her blog... Here is her official site. Home parties? Trunk show in your own home? Party gifts? Hummmmmm amazing what people think of....hop on over there and see what you think. This could turn to be a lot of fun.

LOOKING FOR A BIT OF INSPIRATION!!! - THIMBLEBERRIES SEW DAY

Leslie from "The Cuddle Quilter" emailed me last night about Thimbleberries Sew day....

Man!!! I had forgotten. To be honest I remembered at the beginning of the week and gave it some thought...but the thought left as quickly as it came.

Just like that!!

Oh...Thimbleberries Sew day coming this Wednesday...

GONE!!!...the thought left....like going in a room and forgetting why you are there...just gone...

So this morning I was looking for a bit of inspiration.

So I pulled out the only Thimbleberry Fabrics that I have....Oh....I just love them. I wish there was a Thimbleberry Club...kinda like the Mickey Mouse Club....I could be Annette (ha!! a lot of you don't even know who she is....)....am I dating myself???

Got my books out. I enjoyed seeing Leslie's on her blog today
As I was flipping through my books I came across some I have already done.

Here is one.... My first blue ribbon!!
This one....
Gave this one away....
Gave two of these away...sometimes I just can't do one.
OH...and you saw the toppers I did for Christmas...sorry..didn't include pictures of those.

Then there is this one HUGE quilt, it can't even fit in this room. I wish I was at my sister Beverly's home, she would have room.

So...among all of the inspiration I thought, why not sandwich this puppy today??? It is going to take me a while .... I am going to put it on my bed and get the layers together and then bring it downstairs and pin it on my counter.

I love the backing fabrics, it matches wonderfully...you may not think so but it does....really!!
So I have my work cut out for me this morning....best get busy. All you gals out there that are doing Thimbleberries, be sure to come by and comment so I can make a visit....in the mean time, do check out all of the blogs on my sidebar. Should be a fun day!!!

A smiling moment....I had asked David to take my sheets upstairs (I had just finished washing them)....so later on I go up there and the bed it made..... I thought I was having a senior moment because I didn't remember making the bed.....well....you all can guess who did....Kudos to you David!!!
