HAVE YOU EVER HAD TO FIT A ROUND PEG INTO A SQUARE HOLE? NO MORE!!! NEW DESIGN! VINTAGE CLOTHING!

REMEMBER THIS PHOTO?

I asked you to guess what I was making???

No more guessing!!!

Here it is all set up!

So what do you think?  No more rectangle place mats for me....

---------------------------------------

On another note:

So many times I have gone into stores wanting to buy a dress and well....they just are not modest enough for me.
Most are sleeveless, low in the top and well...just not what I would want to wear.

Have any of you heard of Shabby Apple?

They have vintage clothing.  At first I thought vintage clothing???  I don't know????

But................

I went to their website and oh my stinking GOSH!!!  I love love love their dresses.  If you have time and are looking for modest clothing that is fashionable, this is the place to go.

Here are a few of my favorites

  1. I love your placemats! The link is missing though. I have the same problem with clothing, when I have time I just make my own clothes now. I haven't made anything lately because I keep telling myself that I will make my new dress when I lose 10 pounds, hasn't happened yet though!

  7. perfect placemats for that nice round table. I keep saying I need to make some place mats for my table, but it never seems to get to the top of the list. I am thinking of doing the stack and whack type with 4 colours, one for each of use.

  9. I made ones similar to yours for my sister's round kitchen table. We used freezer paper and drew the placemat right on the table to see how it would fit. Then I made 4 and it worked out real well. Yours look great!

  13. Your mats are such a clever idea. One of those things where I think "that's so obvious, now I see it, why hasn't it been invented before?"
