Except one was keeping me from doing what I wanted to be doing.
Went to Jury Duty yesterday and sat all day long waiting for my name to be called to go to panel....it was never called. Sorry if you hear my elation in that...
It was interesting to see how the system works or as much as the system I saw working.
The judge led us in the Pledge of Allegiance, I thought that was pretty interesting.
There were 600 of us in one room. It is also interesting to note that with all those people in one room it was very quiet and respectful
. Oh well.....

ReplyDeleteGood job!
Amazing, you move, and get called for jury duty. I move, and live 5 years in new address, and still never called to jury duty. More time for sewing. Your tree of life is looking good.
ReplyDeleteYou really had be guessing Barb.....LOL...
ReplyDeleteWhat's up with everyone having jury duty? Hubbykins had it in June, he was dismissed and now in July you and you were dismissed. I'm in Aug and I sure hope I'm dismissed. I don't know what you are making but the quilting is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI actually like serving on a jury. I find it fascinating. Love your Tree of Life!
ReplyDeleteI got called for jury duty this past spring, and I was really glad when I got excused!
ReplyDeleteI love the green & blue fabric!
I was called for jury duty and had to sit around for two weeks waiting for a case. My name was never even called. I got a whole afghan crocheted while I was there.
ReplyDeleteLove your Tree of Life! Just fantastic.
I hate it when things get in the way of sewing!
ReplyDeleteIs that some of the Samoan fabric? Love it!
ReplyDeleteI have never been called for jury duty and I don't really think I would want to . Your Tree of Life looks very lovely Barb.
ReplyDeleteYour tree is looking so good Barb. Mine is still sitting there in the to be done pile. I had jury duty during Christmas break and actually forgot about it until 2 days later. I thought I was going to jail for missing it!
ReplyDeleteLuckily when I called they were kind and said I had been dismissed. What a relief.
I think your tree of life looks fantastic!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like your life is as busy as mine, Barb. I'm glad to see you are still finding time to work on the Tree of Life.
ReplyDeleteWell, looks like you're as busy as ever
