At the beginning of January, Cyndi of Bluebird Swings emailed me and said she was making a quilt for Sandy. I told her that I had wanted to do one for her as well.....but since she had already started one that maybe she could make the top and I could quilt it.
Cyndi did a fabulous job on the top. Hopefully, this will bring some cheer to Sandy...... I know that all of the cards that were sent to me did the trick and I so want to thank all of you who sent one. If you haven't heard from me, it is because when I would get them, I would just turn around and send it on. Thanksssss so much.
Thanks Cyndi for allowing me to help with this quilt, it was fun working on this project together.
For those of you new to my blog and Bluebird Swings, our friend Sandy, who does not have a blog but was always one to give such wonderful comments on our blogs and others, has cancer. We have heard that she is out of the hospital but we have not heard anything since she was released. Maybe we will hear something tomorrow.
the quilt is lovely, I pray it brings the blessing of friendship and the confort of love. bless you both for your work. cw

ReplyDeleteOh, good job! I am sure she will be pleased!!
ReplyDeleteLovely quilt; the colors are terrific and the quilting is fabulous. Did you do that on a domestic machine? You don't have a long-arm, do you? That's a bigger quilt than I like to maneuver in my Bernina. I hope Sandy gets the all-clear signal very soon; I know she'll just love the quilt and her sweet friends who made it.
ReplyDeleteHappy quilting,
