  4. I watched the video. I bought some of that Heat and Bond Ultra- you can NOT sew thru that stuff. But man does it stick!

  12. I'll have to watch the video later but I just love Kris and Kim. Kris was my neighbor for many years and was so influential in my Brianna's life. She helped us with Brianna's open house and really made it beautiful on a shoe string budget. They're both the real deal and as sweet as can be! The dishes kind of remind me of my mom's wheat dishes that I have one of the plates of and the book looks really fun!

  13. My Grandma used to have a set of dishes very much like those dishes. I remember eating off the wheat pattern for many years.

  16. You must have about every wheat dish, glass, and pot out there, I think! Very generous on the book, but I am trying to destash, so I better pass on this one. As for those two girls, they always put me in mind of Marie Osmond. Not a bad thing - I like Marie.

  17. Gene is so right, very hard to stitch thru heat and bond and very stiff. I prefer steam a seam though I hate stitching through that one too.
    The book looks interesting since I have yet to make something patriotic.

  19. I love the dishes, my Grandma had some just like them! I had to smile when I saw them. I haven't seen any like these in a while. Count me in for the book, please. I love patriotic blocks and I'm making red, white and blue quilts this year. Great video, thanks for sharing!
