ACCUQUILT GO GIVEAWAY - THE TIME IS NOW...THE TIME IS HERE....!!!

First off let me say......

I can't eat (we all know that is a lie)

I can't sleep.....true...

and when I am not eating or sleeping.....or playing with my "GO" cutter....I am dreaming of all the fun things I can do with it....

Am I sick?

Is this wrong?

So you have seen the butterfly quilt, the one tumbler quilt (can't seam to find a border for it)...

Put a border on this quilt....yepeee...it fits the top of a queen sized bed nicely.

Cut this one out and put it together today..... Also had my friend Krista come over...we cut her out a bunch of tumblers (will be the size of the blue one)...and she stayed for a while and sewed..... Trust me when I tell you that the colors are more vibrant in person.

So.....now it is time for the giveaway!!! What we all have been waiting for!!

I wish I could say a "GO" for everyone....but....no can do ohhhhh!!

SSOOOOOOOOOOOOO

We are going to make this easy.....but there will be alittle work involved.
Go to the Accuquilt website and chose 3 dies that would make your life easier and come back to let me know.

Then....if you post about this for me, you will get three entries (be sure to let me know)....but...tell your blogging friends to come here and tell me who sent them and that will get you another entry for everyone that mentions your name. Can't get any better than that.

Then.....I will do the generator thing...but will choose 5 numbers....and those five numbers will be named on this blog on the 10th of June....hopefully, you all will come back and see who has been chosen...then I will ask them to blog about why they should win the go....you can go by each blog and then come back here and tell me who you think should win. So...this relieves me of the pressure of picking.....

So now, you are asking what this next picture is??? Remember I told you to comment for an entry on this post? Well....I went back to the day I announced I was receiving the go and put everyone that wished me well...and everyone who commented there after on all the "GO" post. So..you are all numbered but you have more than one number if you had commented more than once. The only post you can go back to and comment on now is this post, I will not even look at the others.

If you have not signed up on facebook as a fan for AccuQuilt, please do, they are always having fun giveaways and are going to give a "GO" away when they reach 5,000 fans....so keep an eye out there as well.

The first round will end June 10th...we will give the five remaining numbers until the 15th to post thier plea for the "GO", you all come back and let me know who you think deserves it...and I will give it until the 20th for all of you to cast votes.

Thanks so much for playing, hopefully, this will be fun for us all.

PS>>>if you don't have a blog...no worries...if your name is picked, you can just use my blog...tell me what to say or do....we will get 'er done!!

NO MORE ENTRIES ARE TO BE TAKEN, COMMENTS ARE CLOSED.....

  1. Ok... I am the first commenter. I guess living in Hawaii has it's advantages sometimes ;)

I would love the Go! cutter. I think the dies that would work the best for me would be the 2 1/2" strip cutter - for I am always working with jelly roll patterns. I would also love the circles, because I can't even draw a circle, let alone cut one out! And finally, the rag quilt die, because I have always wanted to make a rag quilt but I don't want to do the work of snipping all the edges.

    Thanks Accuquilt for this opportunity!

  2. So Cool! I have a neighbor who made one of these for one of premie patients at work. I will posting about it tomorrow! Steph

Now, off to choose my dies :)

  4. Aaaagh, I can't get on the Accuquilt website, is the whole blogging/quilting world on there choosing their dies for your giveaway Barb?
Anyway, I know I need a hexagon die, just love those hexies and mine are less than accurate.
A 2 1/2" strip cutter would be excellent, I could make my own jelly rolls.
I had a look on another website beginning with "A" and found a lovely die set called Fall Medley so I think I'll go for that too, lovely leaves, all neatly cut out, bliss to a ginger-haired "autumn" person like me :)
Will try the Accuquilt site again later and see if all those other quilters have gone to their sewing rooms!
Thanks for the giveaway Barb, sorry if I rambled on, it's the excitement!! Lis x

  8. I can't sleep this morning, so I just did all my homework for you and blogged you.

    ReplyDelete
  9. I will add a SECOND post today for this....even though it's my granddaughter's b'day and I had HER post as my main topic today!!! You know I've been waiting for this giveway...you know I'm already a fan of AccuQuilt on Facebook....and you know I really REALLY need this cutter!!! LOL

    ReplyDelete
  10. Oh...yes...now about the 3 dies I would definitely buy if I am lucky enough to get that cutter......first would be the 2 1/2 inch strip cutter and mat to go with it......that is a definite as that is the size strip I used for a lot of borders and also for my bindings. Second is the 5-inch charm square because I use that a lot and love it for my disappearing 9-patch quilts (which I did a small one yesterday and had to cut them by HAND...UGH). Third is a toss-up right now between the tumbler (simply because I like the tumbler quilts I'm seeing) OR the raggy quilt block die since I"ve made one raggy quilt...love the quilt but did NOT like all that snipping around all the blocks, so that is why I've not yet made another one!

    ReplyDelete
  11. Oh..yes...I should mention that I did not have to go right to the AccuQuilt webpage to list the dies I want......WHY? (you ask).....because I have spent SO much time there the past couple of weeks drooling over the cutter AND the dies AND watching the videos AND looking at the patterns....and I practically have their webpage memorized!!! LOL Pretty funny, huh?

    ReplyDelete
  12. I can't enter (or well why should I?) since I won a Go! from Accuquilt already. But I did read about this first thing today on both Tonya's Sewing Room AND A Little of this And a littler of PAT.
So am commenting to give them a GO! at it.

I could use the tumbler die, the 2 1/2 strip die and the circles die. (Yeah, yeah, I know....it doesn't matter since I am not winning on YOUR blog.)

    Good luck folks!

    ReplyDelete
  13. I also will be posting about your giveaway on my blog today :-) Have a wonderful week! It sounds like you will ;-D

    ReplyDelete
  14. Barb, for some reason I cannot open the Accuquilt website. But I would think that I'd love to have the 2 1/2" strip cutter for starters. Thanks so much for sharing.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Hi I love it I will be going to work but I will do what is needed to try to win this lovely Go machine. I can tell your having a ball with it. Enjoy

    ReplyDelete
  16. I can't seem to get the Accuquilt page to come up right now. I think your blog has broke it lol. I know that they have a rag die that I would love to have for making rag quilts. All that clipping with scissors is too much like work. I also would definitely want a 5" die and the 2.5" strip one. Then of courses all the applique ones look fun too. Oh darn! I'll just take one of everything please lol.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I love the way you are running this give a-way. Randomly picking 5 people and letting us chose for you. Much less stress for you.

    I blogged... http://www.rsislandcrafts.com/2010/06/do-not-visit-barb-this-month.html

    ReplyDelete
  18. Hi Barb......Let me first say that Pat...from Delaware sent me to the give away which she says gets her 2 votes.
This is a great cutting tool, boy have we come a long way from cutting with scissors!

    ReplyDelete
  19. Boo Hoo!! I have tried and tried, but I can't et onto the Accuquilt site. I want to have a look at the dies. I will try later, but just so you know I have been following your adventure.

    ReplyDelete
  20. I am drooling at all of the awesome dies they have! My favorites (at this moment are): the circles, the feathers, and the 2 1/2 strip cutter. I'm going back to their website to look around some more. Thanks for a chance at this amazing giveaway!

    ReplyDelete
  21. I think the dies I would choose would be the Apple Core, Hexagons and the Rectangle dies. I am already a facebook fan of Acquilter.

    ReplyDelete
  22. I would love to have the drunkard's path, the tumbler, the hexagon and the winding ways dies. (yes I can count, but I couldn't narrow it down any more!) They all would be so awesome to have! Thanks for a chance to win.

    ReplyDelete
  23. I like Eleanor Burns' dies, squares and rectangles and also rag die. Thanks for including me in your giveaway.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Ok I forgot I have to be at work at 12:00 not 9:00 thank goodness I remembered before I got to work. The dies I would like are ALL OF THEM but I have to pick 3 2 1/2 strip I loved your tumbler so I would love this one and then the 3 1/2 square. This is my wish can you make it come true. I hope so.

    ReplyDelete
  25. I posted about your giveaway on my blog.

    ReplyDelete
  26. How exciting! After watching you have so much fun~ I think I'd like the 2.5 strip die, the tumbler and the diamonds... but the feathers look so neat too! I can see now, I'd be purchasing dies! LOL I blogged already~ I really need this little machine! Thanks for the chances Barb!

    ReplyDelete
  27. Awesome giveaway! Here's my list of the 3 dies: 1) Strip cutter, because I've made the horrendouse mistake of folding my fabric a bit off, and then realizing my freshly cut strips are horrible zigzags. 2) Circles, because I love to make yoyo's. 3) One of the alphabets - wow - talk about an easy monogram applique! I have so many ideas about how to use the alphabet dies...

    ReplyDelete
  28. Oh so many dies to choose from - I like the funky flowers, the fall medley and feathers - well I like all of them - but those are my favorites. This is so exciting.

Pat from Delaware sent me over here - isn't she nice to send others over? I thought so.

I really need this thing - so I can spend even more time on quilts LOL. Thanks for doing this - I must get busy and post about this on my blog - oh fun fun fun!!!

    ReplyDelete
  29. Blogged about this here: http://asthefrogturns.blogspot.com/2010/06/accuquilt-give-away-over-at-bejeweled.html

    ReplyDelete
  30. Oh yeah!!! A chance to win. I would definitely like to make a few of those impossible to cut quilts = Double Wedding Ring, Drunkard's Path, Dresden Plates or even the hexies.

I added it to my post! Hope you get lots of entrants.

    ReplyDelete
  31. The die set that would make my life easier would definitely be the 12" finished block die set...This woudl help with my block I make in the Quilting Bees! I am not a good fabric cutter at all! The 2.5" strip cutter and the 4" finished triangles would be nice too :)

    ReplyDelete
  32. I've been waiting for the "GO"-ahead for the giveaway patiently and now it's here! The three dies I would pick are: Drunkard's Path (cutting those curves is difficult), Critters (what fun for baby quilts!) and Arabesque #2 for a little fancy flair in quilt corners.

Thanks for the opportunity to win!

    ReplyDelete
  33. I posted about your great give-a-way!

    ReplyDelete
  34. Oh man, I would love the triangle and diamond dies- I've spent a lot of time in the last few days rotary cutting those pesky points, and I would like the feathers die, too, because they're beautiful but too hard to cut by hand.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Way cool post and giveaway. Oh how I'd love to win this giveaway. I'd love, love, love to win and get a 2.5" strip die, arabasque die, and tumbler die. Actually, I could think of ooodles more dies I'd love to have too!

I would love the Circles Jumbo, Hexagon Jumbo, and the Arabesque Set #2!

    ReplyDelete
  39. Oh Barb, such pressure to pick just three. BUTTTTTT I love the 2 1/2 strip die, would love the 5 inch square, would work well with charm packs and would love the circles. I would add steam a seam two and then cut them, they would make cute blocks! thank you!!!

    ReplyDelete
  40. I went and looked at the dies. The dies that would make my life easier would be the 5" square and the parallelogram, but the holiday dies look like so much fun. Thanks.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Barb, I am a follower of yours, but it was SewCalGal's blog who sent me here first.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Maybe 3 is the charm. I would love a Go Cutter. After I joined FB that is all I can see and think about. My first choices are the rag die (I have 4 to do. It is my families favorite), 2" die. Maybe I could get my scraps under control and the 2 1/2 strip. I could do lots with it. SewCalGal sent me over. I sure would love to win.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I need to win. I want one so bad. I need the basic shapes. I love your blog and your quilts. Please can i win. Please please please.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Maybe you should try writing a suspense novel! You sure no how to to build it!
Well, I want all the dies! But I'd probably choose ones that are no fun cutting! Like the Drunkards Path, The Apple core & the Blazing stars! And I add the tumblers, because yours are just too darn cute!

    ReplyDelete
  45. SewCalGal sent me here -I have not looked at the dies as I am trying to resist getting sucked in to the Accuquilt... but am putting in a plug for her to win! :-)

    ReplyDelete
  46. I need this and I want this so I should be picked to win! ;)

    ReplyDelete
  47. I would love the 2.5" strip cutter--it would save so much time as I use 2.5" strips a lot. The Hexagon dies would help me finish my grandmother's flower garden quilt I have been working on forever. And the Go! Baby dies, well, with a brand new grandbaby to sew for, what else should I wish for?

    ReplyDelete
  48. I would love the 5 in square die, the the 2.5 in strip die, and the tumbler die! I love those precut patterns, and this would make it easier to make my own precuts!

    ReplyDelete
  49. It was a hard choice with so many dies to choose from, but I finally decided I would get the most use from
1)GO! Strip Cutter-2 1/2" - I can never get my strips cut completely straight for bindings.
2)GO! Half Square-4" Finished Triangle - I have plans and fabric for several quilts that use half square triangles such as a pinwheel quilt. I figure you could also flip the triangles around and create a larger square using four of them which could make a neat quilt.
3)GO! Tumbler-6 1/2" - I have seen some beautiful quilts around blogland using tumblers and am now inspired to make some of my own. I don't know if I have the patience to hand cut the tumbler blocks though!

Thanks for this great opportunity. I love seeing everything you are doing with your GO! and I'm excited for the chance to win one of my own.

    ReplyDelete
  50. o.k. I am still covetting your Go.. the dies that would help me the most are the strips 2 1/2 the squares (we could all use the squares) and the applique leaves ( I have many ufo applique projects that need leaves, but what a pain to mark and cut all those leaves). I will be having my knees operated on in July and will be laid up for a little while, If I win I could sit in my living room while recouping and play with the GO and do a little stash cleansing. A girl can dream right? Now I am going back to my blog to post about this so I get a second chance to win. :)

    ReplyDelete
  51. Yeah!! Thanks Barb and Accuquilt for this great giveaway!! If I win I would love to win the 21/2" strip cutter, the Drunkards Path and the Circles. Whoo Hoo!! I would love to get an GO package in the mail.

  55. EEEK! I like random number....better chances...I don't deserve the cutter any more than anyone else but I sooo want one I will do ANYTHING, so here is my entry.

    ReplyDelete
  58. I posted this wherever I could! :)

First, I would love to have the 2 1/2" strip cutter, the 2" square and probably the 1/4 Square Triangles (4").... either that or the 2, 3 and 5" circles. Tough to choose! They would make so many parts of my quilts just that much easier!!

    Anyway, my posts are:

    Main Blog Post
    and
    Review Blog post

I already follow AccuQuilt on Facebook (that's how I found out about your giveaway!) :)

    Thanks for the opportunity!

    ReplyDelete
  59. I found out about your giveaway from Crazy'boutquilt's blog post today.

I think for me the three that I'd choose would be the 3.5 x 6.5" rectangle b/c I want to make Bonnie Hunter's Bricks and Stepping Stones.. I'd also love to have the 2" block and the 2.5" strip...

but dang they are all sooo expensive aren't they???? I just don't see ever buying the GO cutter - at least not with my husband knowing the cost! LOL

    Love from Texas! ~bonnie

    ReplyDelete
  60. Barb, will depend upon you for the blog as don't have one. The three dies that would make my life easier are the hexagons, 2 and 1/2 inch strip (couldn't see a 2 1/4 for binding), and Half Square-4" Finished Triangle. Winning this GO will be a two-fer as my mother and I will both use it. She sent me in here to enter this contest! Between her arthritis and my fibromyalgia and our love of quilting -- the GO would really help make our cutting more painfree. Thank you for this contest. mlwright29 (at) hotmail (dot) com

    2.5" Strip Cutter
Half Square - 3" Finished Triangle
    Square - 3.5"

I will be back when I have blogged about it. I am a follower, I have become a friend of Accuquilt on Facebook and I will see what else I can do. Thanks for this opportunity. This is the only way I could afford to get one.

    ReplyDelete
  63. First I want to tell you that SewCalGal suggested I come visit and enter.

Dies that would make my life better: Palm Beach Junior, Dresden Plate 3 and Ricky Tims Arabesque 1. I would have chosen a halloween one but I didn't find one. oh, boo.

    ReplyDelete
  64. I would choose the 2", 3-1/2" and 5" as I am a huge fan of Scrap Therapy. I also like to do charm quilts so the tumbler one would be a winner with me too.

I'll be posting about it and I can't believe I didn't see this before now and that I read about it at Happy Cottage Quilter blog before I actually saw it on your blog!

I already have AccuQuilt on my Facebook groups/friends.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Circles, Hexagons and I would have to say want to make my own charm squares so 5"!! I'm so excited just thinking about how fast I could make my own with this gadget!!

    ReplyDelete
  66. Got you on my blog...but Barb....I think everybody who frequents mine has been here! You've got quite a few names! Wowzers! Competition is steep but you know...can't win unless you buy that lottery ticket so I'm tossing the name in and keeping all crossed.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Hey Barb... you are having waaaay tooooo much fun! It would be awesome to win one of these!

I blogged about it and posted a video. Choosing only 3 dies??? I would have to go with the 2.5 inch strips (a lot of jelly rolls), the 5 inch square (a lot of charms could be made) and the hexagons (2, 3, 5-inch) as I MUST begin a Grandmother's Flower Garden.

    Thanks for the opportunity! ...Karen

  80. Hey we blogged about you and hopefully more people will come your way. I did get on the Accuquilt go website and the dies I would like are the rag 8 1/2, the 2 1/2 strip, and the drunkards path. There are so many to choose from that it is hard to make a decision.

    ReplyDelete
  81. Wow, I didn't realize that they made so many different dies! I would pick the drunkard's path ( always a pain to cut out), hexagon, and one of the border dies -either the ric rac or feather. These would really save a body some time! Thanks Barb for giving us the chance to win one!
    Sharonj.

    ReplyDelete
  82. I would have to chose some of the more difficult to cut shapes, like drunkard's path, apple core and double wedding ring. There certainly are a lot of dies! This is great, Barb!

    ReplyDelete
  83. I'm not sure I would know what to do with a GO cutter, but I'm quite sure Jo from Pieceful Afternoon would...and that's why I came over here to say that! GO JO!! ~Lili

  84. I've wanted a go for a while now but other things have taken priority in the budget. I'd love to win. The three dies I'd pick would be the tumbler, the 2 1/2" strip one, and the petal/feather die.

    ReplyDelete
  85. Cool beans -- I'll mention it on my post for tomorrow. If I had to choose just three, I'd pick the bears, the butterflies and the feathers.

    ReplyDelete
  86. I would choose the set with the heart, star and butterfly. They would be fun to add bits of applique to some pieced designs. I also love the tumbler design - too. It is so amazing to me that there are so many different dies. It could be so tempting to cut project after project- then a piecing I could go, a piecing I could go Wahooo...
You are on my blog list so that is how I found your post..
    Regards,

  88. Okay Barb - I know you said the plea comes later - BUT I really Really want Greg to win one of these. So my entry is for him. I really wish we had a GO die for the apple cores - we've cut out about 400 by hand so far. Greg has about 40 sewn together and needs to cut about 100 more cores. They are all funky looking as sometimes we were cutting and tracing in the car, late at night etc. Always wanted to make a rag quilt so that die would be nice too. But that would be a selfish pleasure for me. Greg would greatly benefit of the strip cutter and the squares. Greg has Cerbral Palsy and has limited use of his right hand. He designed his own clamping system to hold the fabric and rulers so that he can rotery cut his fabric. A Go cutter would just make it so much easier and with less errors for him.

  89. Following up. I've posted a BLOG about this and a FACEBOOK status!

  90. Great giveaway! If I got to choose three dies, I would definitely need the 5-1/4 rag cutter, the 2-1.2" strip cutter and 2-1/2 finished block die set. These would perfectly fit all my needs (although I suspect I would need more and more as time went on, lol!)
I'm heading to my blog to post about your giveaway now as well!
    Hugs,
    Kerry

  96. I'd love to have a GO!!! I could really use the Apple Core, 6 1/2 inch square and the 6 1/2 inch triangle. Those would make my quilting projects much easier to complete. Thanks for the chance!! If it would help my chances of winning I'd rub Gene's head for luck!!

    ReplyDelete
  97. Wow! What a great offer. Thanks!
I've been to look at all the die patterns,

Oh, and SheilaC told me about this on her blog!

    ReplyDelete
  101. Oh, my! I haven't had this much fun since yesterday morning! What a wonderful way to start the morning. Let me first say, my best blog friend GerryArt sent me your way. And I think my favorite dies (for the moment) are the tumbler, circles and 2 1/2" strip cutters. I can just see the quilts and bindings now.

    ReplyDelete
  102. What a fun tool! I'd like the applique, classic and licenses design dies for starters! I'll blog this as well.

Secondly, I know what die patterns I would get if I were to win because I have been looking at getting one for a long time! I would choose 12" Finished Block Die Set, GO! Strip cutter-2 1/2", and GO! Funky Flowers.

Thirdly, I just posted about this on my blog.

Lastly, thank you for hosting this giveaway!!!

  110. Karen Silvers of Creative Kick sent me over.

    ReplyDelete
  111. Oh!! I've been dreaming about one of those since I saw it in a quilt shop when I was up north a few weeks ago. My friends and I were drooling over it.

My friend Jo of Pieceful Afternoon told me about your blog and the contest here. We've been online quilting buddies for quite a while now. She's been prodding me to have a blog too.

It is so hard to decide, I like all the dies, but having to narrow it down to 3, I'd pick the hexagon, am so bad at cutting those out; the fall medley, and the feathers. If I were lucky enough to win, my email address is c.desilets@charter.net.

    ReplyDelete
  112. I would love this, I just had eye surgery and I have a hard time cutting accurately and it might never get better so this would make it so I don't have to give up quilting. I would like the strip cutter, the circle cutter and the alphabet cutter.

    Finget are crossed

    ReplyDelete
  113. i would have to say the Go Hexagon die set would make my life much much better! thanks for the opportunity to win, and greg from Flat Out Quilting sent me.

    ReplyDelete
  115. I would love the AccuQuilt Go, as it would solve my problem of cutting in a wee cottage. I looked at the site and decided that the dies that I would want are the Go Heart, Go Funky Flowers, and the
    12" Finished Block Die Set.
    Thanks for hosting the giveaway!

  119. Hi!
I posted about this on my blog: http://anotherhatchettjob.blogspot.com/2010/06/amazing-giveaway.

I think that the 2.5 inch strip cutter, the Go! Funky Flowers and the Go! Star would be loads of fun since I want to learn machine applique.

    Thanks for this opportunity!

    ReplyDelete
  120. Oh how I would love to win the Go! The three dies that I would like are the Go! Circle, Go! Rag Square 5 1/4 inch and Fo! Fall Medley.

    ReplyDelete
  121. Hi Barb! You know I would love this new toy. And I'm so happy to see your strips. It's the die I would die for. (And I also like the butterfly---I'm such a copycat!). Enjoying your posts. You're going to inspire me to dig out my Hawaiian prints and (sadly) cut them into strips the old-fashioned way.

    ReplyDelete
  122. I only mentioned 2 dies. I left out the most inviting one of all...the drunkard's path die. (I would really love nothing better than to throw away the plastic template set I just bought.)

    ReplyDelete
  123. I posted about this on my blog here: http://peachquilting.com/2010/06/02/accucut-go-giveaway/ and on my facebook account (do those count as seperate entries??)

Anway - thanks for hosting this giveaway (and to AccuQuilt also!)!!

    ReplyDelete
  124. First, I want the Circle-2",3",5" die--round perfection! Second, the Round Flower because all the parts for fun flowers are there. Third, Fall Medley--love the leaves! These dies would be a great help in doing the applique I so dearly love.

    ReplyDelete
  125. I would say if they have something for dresdan plate, that would be cool, but I REALLY want to make somethign with hexagones, so I'd want a hexagone die. and maybe a tumbler one too.

    ReplyDelete
  126. I would love to have an apple core die, a tumbler and some kind of leaf I could use for raw edge applique.

    ReplyDelete
  127. With no originality what so ever, I would say I like the strip cutters. But I also covet the feathers and the circles! Thanks for the chance you lucky girl!

    ReplyDelete
  128. Kim from A Peach in Stitches insisted I mention her name here. :-)
I think the 5" square, 2 1/2" strip and 5 1/4 rag die would be awesome.

    ReplyDelete
  129. Sheila sent me over - would love to win one!! Thanks for sharing :).

    ReplyDelete
  130. The AccuQuilt GO! is so much fun.
I must have it.. I want it a ton!
GO! Rag Squares, GO! Hexagon, GO! Strip Cutter too!
Without these dies I would be so blue.
Of all the things I so want to win.
Send me my AccuQuilt GO! and I'll wear a HUGE grin!

    PLEASE! ;)

    ReplyDelete
  131. What a giveaway!!

    As for the dies...the circles, 6 1/2" square, and 2 1/2" strips!

I'll be keeping my fingers crossed in Summerville!

    ReplyDelete
  132. Holy cow how tough it is to chose. I LOVE applique and I think the applique dies Circles, Feathers and Flowers would be so fantastic!

Mary over at Quilt Hollow sent me.

    ReplyDelete
  133. I am so confused---don't know if I am doing this right or not. I get twitterpated very easily!!!! Anyway, the 3 templates that I would use are the tumbler, since I was just searching the web today for a tumbler pattern to make a tumbler quilt out of my 30's scraps. The second one would be the 2 1/2" strip because those are so much fun, and the third would be the 5" charm quilt one because they work so well when making Project Linus quilts! Thanks for having this drawing so that I could win one! LOL!! LOL!!

    ReplyDelete
  134. Barb, I like the 12" finished block die set. I know the price is out there, but hey, this is a wish list, right?

    ReplyDelete
  135. Barb, I blogged about the giveaway. Thank you. I picked the die set. Does that count for three dies? If not , I also liked the strip dies and the classic dies. Hope I met all of the requirements. Thanks, again.

    ReplyDelete
  136. Hi Barb, I hope I remember everything! First, I would love to win the Go because my finances are tight right now and I can't afford to buy one. If I did own one and had the opportunity to purchase three dies, I would choose the 12" finished block set as this is usually the size blocks I make. My second would be 2" square die as I also make small wall hangings, and third the 8 1/2" rag die as I am getting into making these and it sure would be nice to have all that snipping done for me! I have posted the give a way on my blog, The Straw Needle, and I would like to mention that I learned of this give a way from Pat at A Little of this and a Little of Pat! Whew! I think I did everything! Good Luck to all of us. Oh, and I did make the Go cutter folks my friend on Facebook! Ok, now I believe I am finished! Have a great day!
    Dawn

  137. Fantastic giveaway! My friend Quilt Hollow sent me and I'm commenting to give her extra chances:)

    ReplyDelete
  138. Well the first obvious choice for me is the 8 1/2" rag, the 6 1/2 square and the 6 1/2 triangle. I think these would be the ones I would use the most but sure would be fun to have the rest of them too.

I blogged about the giveaway. Hope I make the final five.

    ReplyDelete
  139. Terrific quilts...you are on the go with this GO! cutter. I can't wait to see what you're up to next!

    ReplyDelete
  140. Hi I read about the giveaway at Quilts by Lee's blog. And am I happy I did. I so want a GO Cutter. I have the catalog here and love looking at the pictures and dreaming of the day... ReplyDelete
  144. Wow this is so cool looking. I would choose the circles, diamonds and hexagons, since I have been too timid to try quilts with those shapes.

    ReplyDelete
  145. Oh, I am so wanting one of these now after watching you have so much fun. Because of all of my charity quilting, I would use the jumbo applique ones the most...so I am saying the Applique Alphabet 7'uppercase, and the Go! Critters, and the Applique Collection-Summer Jumbo. Oh, did I say the 2 1/2" strip cutter or the hexagons? You really aren't making us choose yet, are you???

    ReplyDelete
  146. How awesome Barb :) I am so excited for you that you won a GO cutter :) If I won one I would be over the moon and just love using it to cut out the different shapes. ReplyDelete
  151. The dies I think would make my life the easiest are 1. Drunkard's Path, 2. Bountiful Baskets, and 3. Triangles in a Square. These are ones that require cutting one at a time for the most part.

(I don't suppose it would be legit to choose one of the "Collect 'Em All" sets as a choice, would it?)

By the way, SewCalGal is the one who sent me over to your blog!

    B/

    ReplyDelete

I'd really, really R-E-A-L-L-Y would love to win it, don't we all?, but I think it would be really helpful for me, because I'm always making a mess when I'm cutting the fabrics, I'm a bit dyslexic and always make mistakes and sometimes I ran off fabrics, because of that, and then I got a pile of non good fabrics, well I can keep telling you stuff about it lol ..., I'd love to give a try to the cutters applique, geometrics, go classics, 2 1/2" and 3 1/2" strip cutter, geez I'm sure I'll go crazy with all of them, I want to play and I want to quilt for the rest of my days!!!!!, lol

  180. Barb,
Thanks again for another GREAT Giveaway! Maybe I can actually win this time. WOW, what a hard decision to pick just three favs. I know I should choose something that I can use over and over again but they make so many great designs. Okay, enough rambling on, when all is said and done these made the cut:
    1. GO! Hexigons
    2. GO! Arabesque #2 or #3
    3. GO! Strip Cutter 2 1/2"

I would love to make a few hundred hexies for a quilt with the GO! hexigons, strips always rock (when they are straight)and of course the Arabesque dies are just so very droolworthy and would go very well with a few of the GO! Feathers thrown in.

Keep up the great Blog, you always make me smile.
    Kelley O

But before that happens I would love to be able to help her out and win one of these GO thingies for her, just think, it would save you an enormous amount of postage sending it to her instead of to me across the pond. Fingers and everything else crossed for my lovely TONYA.

  195. Ok... I spent the *day* yesterday cutting 2 1/2" squares! I could use the 2 1/" strips cutter, the 5" squares and something fun like... critters :o) Although I love the tumblers, too. I'm going over to blog about your giveaway! (If you visit, I just posted a story about cutting out those squares a few minutes ago....) http://kwiltingwithkatie.blogspot.com/

  196. I found your giveaway on A Thread of Red blog. It is hard to pick just three GO dies. My choice is Rag Square 5 1/4", Circle 3" and Tumber 6 1/2". I have all the fabric to make a shaggy raggy baby quilt for my new granddaughter, and wouldn't Go Cutter make it easy.

    Thanks for your terrific giveaway.

  197. Oh I was just checking this out! Unfortunately, the hubby limits me on what I can spend on quilting and accessories, haha! It's amazing that you are giving one away!! *crosses fingers*

After looking at the dies, I can honestly say the one that I would use the most are the strip cutters, but I also love the baby designs. I like to make lots of baby quilts for my kids and expecting friends of mine.
