DID I DO THAT?

How many of you have gone to clean your sewing room.  Unearthed a pile and wonder to yourself

"WHEN DID I MAKE THAT?"

Here are two projects that when I came across them I went HUMMMMMMM and to be honest...I have a vague memory of making them.

Had to add borders and quilt them....EASY

EASY

My lovely Samoan Fabrics for the main colors....

I knew I had this project but I wasn't too happy with it.  I finally finished it and well...it looks pretty good on the wall in my hall.  The fabrics are from Island Batik - Tequila Sunset and the background fabric is from Latte Foam.  Love these fabrics.

DRUNKARD’S PATH TIME THREE

IMG_1243
Don’t these witches fingers look gross????  I think you would have to be drunk to eat them or hungry.  I made these for the scouts Tuesday night….you can get the recipe here

Now these are yummy.  They are just Ritz crackers with peanut butter in the middle dunked in almond bark……ummmm ummmm good.  I just put the bark in the microwave for one minute, stir and then put it in for another minute.

In November our church is having a day of service, so I was asked to help make quilt tops so the ladies can tie them.  As you see, I got out my trusty Accuquilt Go cutter...

I suggested that we bring machines and have them quilt in the ditch…for some reason tying doesn’t get to my happy side.

Don’t forget Ebony’s book tour, you can see the list on my side bar.

THROW BACK QUILT

I call this quilt my throw back quilt....I practiced my free motion on it....I am actually pleased with how it turned out but it is far from perfect..... This is the small drunkard's path die for the Accuquilt Go cutter. I used the fabric scraps I purchased a few years ago.

I am trying to improve my hand/eye coordination....more control in my hands. So I went up and down the weave with the free motion foot....looks like I was drunk....but I hopefully, got better. I call that repeated pattern that is not quilted the weave.

So as I am quilting the fire alarm went off in the house. Scared the bejeebies out of me...I run through the house looking for fire, the only thing I can figure is I was running my machine so fast the alarm picked up on it....HA!!!!!
