My sister Beverly came by last night and gave me a folding lesson......she just eyed her folds but I am having to use a ruler. I am just thrilled...so you know what I will be doing today!!!
If you walk into Beverly's sewing room all of her fabric is stacked so nice and neatly. You noticed that I did not show you the rest of the fabrics...maybe when I get them all folded....
are
looking at my new cutting table. A big shout out to my husband...he is the one that spend all afternoon putting it together....
My sister and mother loved it so much that we went back that evening to get them one.....
All I can say is that it changes the look of my sewing room ..... Gave me the incentive to get in there and fold, declutter...throw more stuff away...if you are close by....I can throw some stuff your way.
Wow is that a neat table, how big is it?
ReplyDeleteSo true, organized exterior can get the interior of our minds thinking clearer. I truly believe that. Now if I could just get myself organized.
ReplyDeleteScore big time. Can't wait to see the room all done.
ReplyDeleteNice bargain. You'll never see my sewing room; too messy.
ReplyDeleteYou are having such fun getting organized! I love your new beautiful table...lucky you!
ReplyDeleteOh, NICE cutting table plus!
ReplyDeleteIt's a great table! I love the storage on the sides!
ReplyDeleteThat is a great table and your fabric looks perfectly folded!
ReplyDeleteIt looks very classy Barb. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteFabulous cutting table! Love the cubbies on the end. Is it counter height? I use a counter-height table that I got on clearance at a furniture store at a steal of a price. It's perfect for me and help me dress up my sewing room but you've probably seen my two posts on my blog about my sewing room I did awhile ago. I finally posted on my sewing blog and my family blog so you'll have to stop by. I'm taking pictures now of things I've worked on so that I can post more on the sewing blog. I don't go back to school now until August due to emergency surgery with my Savannah who just turned 6. She can't go back to Washington with her parents since she has pins in her finger due to liability reasons with the surgeon here and my daughter's insurance won't pay the bills if she goes to anyone but him until the pins come out, so she's living with me for 4-6 weeks! It's going to be a ball for me but hard on my daughter and Savannah's sisters. She loves to sew with me so we'll be posting more to keep her mama updated.
ReplyDeleteWow. Love it. Wish I had room for one.
ReplyDeleteOhhh love the looks of that table. I know that is gonna be well used.
ReplyDeleteGreat purchase, Barb! And pretty as well!
ReplyDeleteCan you grab a pic of the room with the new table in it? Hard to visualize size, etc. without that. Big Lots, I may be headed in your direction! PS...great folding! ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm going to have to look for one at my Big Lots!
ReplyDeleteThe new cutting table is gorgeous! I had never realized how much a right sized cutting table prevent an aching back until I got something tall enough. Makes a world of difference!
