UP DATE!!!! GORGEOUS SAMOAN FABRIC

Here is the update on my room......ohhhh la la

Do I hear a WOOT???

All that is left is the trim.  Waiting on my son to finish putting up the trim.  He can make fast work of it but between work and traveling he has not had time.

So I have taken over the guest room and yesterday I had all day to play and play I did.

Working with this awesome Samoan Fabric.  I can not get enough of it.

Maybe this is a complaint (okay, no maybe about it) but with all my sewing in boxes it is really difficult to work.  I have been spoiled with all of my rulers and tools.  I go on search and rescue missions and end up making a mess everywhere.  I like my things when I sew, makes it so much easier.  Seems like I have gone back to the first time I started quilting...using the bare minimal of things.

Okay....I will stop whinning but my THINGS miss me.

  1. What a great room! You can't move anything in at all until the trim is done? I know you're ready to get in there!

  4. Living out of suitcases or boxes is not easy, same goes for quilting. Soon you'll be in your new sewing room and have all your rulers, fabrics and other items all perfectly organized.

  9. Your new room is beautiful and HUGE! We've just moved back into our camper, and big as it is, my stuff is back in tote bins. My sewing machine is stuffed into the closet, along with the bags, a few coats, a broom & the vacuum hose and heads. It's hard living out of boxes with all your stuff scattered; oh, how we suffer! :)

  23. Your new room is stunning! Not only will you have lots of room to organize your things (and how fun will it be to find everything?) but it looks like you will have plenty of room to have friends over to sew too.
