Here is the update on my room......ohhhh la la
Do I hear a WOOT???
All that is left is the trim. Waiting on my son to finish putting up the trim. He can make fast work of it but between work and traveling he has not had time.
Working with this awesome Samoan Fabric. I can not get enough of it.
Maybe this is a complaint (okay, no maybe about it) but with all my sewing in boxes it is really difficult to work. I have been spoiled with all of my rulers and tools. I go on search and rescue missions and end up making a mess everywhere. I like my things when I sew, makes it so much easier. Seems like I have gone back to the first time I started quilting...using the bare minimal of things.
Okay....I will stop whinning but my THINGS miss me.
What a great room! You can't move anything in at all until the trim is done? I know you're ready to get in there!
ReplyDeleteYour room looks amazing! Have fun getting yourself set up in it! :0)
ReplyDeletehahaha!! your things missing you!!
ReplyDeleteYou and your things will soon be re-united. Your room is coming along and looks amazing. And so does that Samoan fabric. I love that stuff.
ReplyDeleteLiving out of suitcases or boxes is not easy, same goes for quilting. Soon you'll be in your new sewing room and have all your rulers, fabrics and other items all perfectly organized.

ReplyDeleteLucky you! You will get a wonderful room when it is finished!
ReplyDeleteYour room is huge. I can't wait to see it all finished up.
ReplyDeleteYour new room is beautiful and HUGE! We've just moved back into our camper, and big as it is, my stuff is back in tote bins. My sewing machine is stuffed into the closet, along with the bags, a few coats, a broom & the vacuum hose and heads. It's hard living out of boxes with all your stuff scattered; oh, how we suffer! :)
ReplyDeleteLooking good. Yes I think I'd have to at least start placing some of the big pieces in there!
ReplyDeleteEverytime I move after my kitchen is functional I unpack my quilting supplies the next room is where I sew. Your room is coming along great.
ReplyDeleteOh you are getting a Woot, Woot, sister! Love your huge room.
ReplyDeleteAnd the blues, just like the water, so beautiful.
Love your super-size room. Can't wait to see it filled with your prized possessions.
ReplyDeleteYou're nearly there Barb, and just think what an amazing room you and your "things" are going to have to play in soon.

ReplyDeleteWOW Barb! You have an awesome sewing room!
ReplyDeleteSometimes Vera Bradley items remind me of Samoan fabrics I've seen of yours. Looks like a stellar sewing room!
ReplyDeleteyour room is looking great and it won't be long before you can see all your tools again. :0)

Your new room is stunning! Not only will you have lots of room to organize your things (and how fun will it be to find everything?) but it looks like you will have plenty of room to have friends over to sew too.
