MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL AND TO ALL A GOOD NIGHT!!

IMG_2249
This is the reason I do not have a Christmas tree…..  talk about a dusty dirty job.  There was dirt and dust a mile deep.  They came last week and didn’t leave until today….
I so wanted to decorate a nice tree this year, not going to happen.

I did find some of my Christmas things and decorated the living room as much as I could.

A sweet friend made me this…

This quilt was hanging on the wall but the tile guys were coming in and out so much that it started falling off the wall…oh well…

This little topper is one of my all time favorites…and of course, I love snow globes and this one has a special meaning to me.

I know getting your new house decorated is important but those practical matters like new tile are important too. It was nice you could at least get a few things out.

Christmas is in our hearts and our home....and you, my friend, have a wonderful home no matter where you are, or what the condition. I wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and hope you enjoy your lst Christmas in your new home. Next year you'll be settled and more relaxed. Still, I hope you enjoy this Christmas.

Merry Christmas Barb! Just think, you can plan all next year for a beautiful tree and all kinds of wonderful decorations for your new home for next Christmas.

I have a tree like the one on your Dasher quilt but, of course, mine is out of different fabrics. I also only put up a little 2 foot tree this year for different reasons. It sounds like good things are happening at your house! Show us some pictures when it's done, but for now please have a very merry Christmas!!

We were having our floors finished (sanded, stained, resealed) the week before Christmas, not something I'd recommend! The smell was terrible and since it was so cold we couldn't open any doors or Windows. Got the tree up two days before on the 22nd and we just took it down yesterday. Last year it was drywall and what a mess....feel your pain!!
