Fiskars Rotary Cutter and Ruler Combo
One of my sons gifted me a gift card for my birthday and this is what I purchased with it. Jeanette from Inchworm Fabrics mentioned this to me the other night while we were on yahoo messenger....all it took was a little suggestion.
I know, so sad.....
I trimmed up a candle mat and I will say that it gives you more control and precision. I think I am going to like it a lot.
Some of you will say..."What about your Go cutter?"
and I say,
"What about it?" It is a proven fact there is more than one way to cut fabric and this gal doesn't mind having more than one way!!
What is really sad is the state of my sewing room. I am trying to decide what I can not live without for two months....
By the way....most of you will probably say "Thank Heavens, we are so sick of hearing about this quilt"
but I am almost done with the Yellow Tree of Life...
Do I get a big pat on the back or what??
Seems I get stumped and just let it sit and mull around in my head...yes...that one little pea rolling around in my head. Now you know why it has taken me forever.
I know what you mean about the sad state of a sewing room. I just don't have enough room for all of my plastic bins. Maybe I have too much fabric. He He.
ReplyDeleteThat is pretty cool! I'm in the process of moving to a temporary rental, I'm going crazy because I have packed all my sewing stuff. My husband just "thinks" that I am leaving most of it packed until we buy our house! LOL
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a cool tool Barb. Does it come with the not-touch blade change tool? every description I have read mentions it but none say it is included. Or is that perhaps a built in feature?
ReplyDeleteI may have to add this to my "I want this for Christmas" list.
You get lots of big pats for all that you do . We all need to take a break and work on other things. I sat down at my machine today for first time in three weeks. After the Bronchitis I just couldn't get my mojo back. Wasn't even to interested today but made myself work for four hours.
