LONG OVER DUE!!

Yesterday I purchased a memory foam top for our spare bedroom mattress....

Well...just look what it came in. Can you see the wheels turning?

Well...today I am going to make something with that round packaging....stay tuned for the results even if it turns out bad I will show you.

No worries about the paper it is sitting on, another project in the works.

Now for the long overdue part. I received this in the mail when we were actually moving in, boxes were everywhere and life was in total turmoil.

What a fun package to get during such a time.....but......I didn't post....so no time like now.

Isn't it adorable?

I won this over at "Red Quilts", Shelley did a fantastic job and I was so hoping to have it quilted before I posted about it but time is a ticking.  Check out her blog, she is so wonderful but is having her own turmoil and could sure use some quilty support.

  2. When I first looked at the memory foam package I thought it was a can of paint. Of course, I wondered what you were up to. ha ha The quilt from Red Quilt is so cute. The black sure makes the pastels pop.

  3. Oh, I got one of those too and just shoved the empty bag in the back of the closet. Too nice to toss, but didn't know what to do with it. Can't wait to see what you do. Congratulations on your win and thanks for the link.

  8. Now I'm very curious what you are going to do with that package. I typically just use them to store quilts in, or other items. Very handy, but you sound like you have a better idea.

Very cute quilt that you won too!
