SERIOUSLY? Twenty-eight of these?

What was I thinking?

I ran out of steam halfway through these, made myself finish them last night.
You can get the pattern here.

If you are counting, (I know someone will check up on my math), there are only 27 here, gave one away already.

Have a wonderful day!!!

  7. I leave you for a few weeks and look what you do...shop, shop, sew and sew more. I love the little santas...but I am so far behind stuff that this will not be done this year. Next year I must look for an embroidery machine too. What a deal you got.

  15. Barb! Those are SEW cute! I'm going to save that pattern for future Christmases (neighbor gifts) because WOW!

I have made one of those Christmas Balls you showed the other day. Am I just slow, or do they really take kind of a long time (like 3 hours) to make? I've got to put the band around the middle and then I'll show it. I wanted to make those for neighbor gifts this year, but I may run out of time.

Anyway, my point is, THANK YOU! for the cute ornament ideas. I think that homemade ornaments make the best neighbor gifts and I haven't had any good ideas on them in several years.

  18. LOL I just finished 13 and that is enough. One for each toddle favor in my granddaughters school class. LOL They are labor intensive and I have taken way to long to finish them. No more Santa's this year but they are so cute!!marybeth.ticknor@yahoo.com

I've got a couple of those Santas on my tree. My mom made them a few years ago.

  24. Yea for a finish! I started making 20 something Santas the other day. I got as far as sewing all the fabric to the front and trimming it. I was using scrap fabric for the red hats and didn't think about needing to have red for the back. Did you use all red for the back or is it half red and half white? I'm thinking about adding batting to mine.
