Oh....for a new toy!!!! Doing the happy dance here..... jiggle, wiggle....more jiggle than wiggle.
I saved my pennies, sold a few quilts and this is what I purchased off ebay.
More jiggle jiggle.....can you feel it?
I can see why my two sisters were thrilled with their embroidery machine, this is so much fun.
This was just a sample fabric, I still don't know what is on the smart card, my computer can not read it....any hints or ways I can figure it out.
Last night I was so unhappy, my son and I thought we had to wait on the cards the gal is sending us. But all reasoning in me said that this one card should work. So this morning I sat down with the book and worked out all of the flashing lights and beeps (yes, those beeps are annoying) and I got it to work......
Now to read the cards so I know what I am embroidering.....
Yeah Barb, this is awesome. Have fun with it!
ReplyDeleteHow fun!!!!! Do you have the software on the computer to read the card?
ReplyDeleteLooks like Christmas came early, Barb.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun ! ! ! We all love new TOYS ! ! !
hugs
Gerry
Have fun Barb , the machine looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteHi Barb, looks like fun but I can't help you with it. You will have so much fun playing with it. I hope in the New year I will have some time to play with my Go Accuquilter as I have been so busy with Christmas things. I love Christmas but I am always happy to get back to less hectic life. I think it must be my age catching up with me.
ReplyDeleteBlessings Sandra
What fun!
ReplyDeleteI have a very simple embroidery machine that I use for embroidering names. There are so many fun in the hoop patterns to try out. Enjoy your new toy!
Wahoo! Lucky girl.
ReplyDeleteAwe, congratulations!!!! I have a Singer embroidery machine and they are fun. I don't use it much...but it's nice to have. =)
ReplyDeleteWow! that is a VERY nice toy. Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteAn embroidery machine is lots of fun. Hopefully I will get more machine time with mine after Christmas. Right now I am mostly using it for quilt labels.
ReplyDeleteOh girlfriend....you are in big ole trouble now...that bug bit me too and I'm telling you it is so facinating to watch those machines just go, go, go.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see what you will be making. There are lots of gals out here who know a lot about ME so ask them if you need help....ask me if you need a little help...I'm no expert!
Hugs,
Kelly
Congrats to you! What format does it use? Maybe you need a software program that will read the cards like Embird or Sew What Pro. I use Embird and have for years. I love it.
ReplyDeleteYay Barb!! Congrats on the new machine! I've wanted an embroidery machine for a while, but I just can't justify it (yet). Enjoy!!! :)
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see all the amazing things you will make with the new machine
ReplyDeleteLoving your happy dance!! Your new toy looks brilliant :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations and good for you. Don't have too much fun though, as you still need to quilt! LOL
ReplyDeletemerry christmas to you! enjoy your new toy, I will enjoy seeing what you dream up. cw
ReplyDeleteYou will have so much fun with your embroidery machine. Can't wait to see what you make.
ReplyDeleteHave fun with your new machine - I'm quite addicted to mine which is also a Pfaff. To see the pictures of the designs on the computer I have to use a program called 5D Design - it came with my machine. It lets me see the pictures and convert any type of file to the type that my machine uses. I also need the software to transfer files from the computer to the memory stick - they will only stitch out if they're transferred that way, not sure if it will be the same case for yours.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on getting it. Can't wait to see what all you do on it.
ReplyDeleteVery happy for you, I love my emb. machine, mine is a viking but still does the same job. So MUCH FUN. Merry Christmas Girlfriend to you and your sweet family. Hugs, Marie
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! Merry Christmas! I'm afraid I can't help you with advice, but I'll be cheering from the sidelines!
ReplyDeleteI have a brother embroidery machine and I think I bought this adapter and program that you plug in, the adapter is like a USB and then you stick you card in that and transfer back and forth.....
ReplyDelete(so weird I read your post and thought you said you saved penises! LOL that coudn't be right, so I read it again)
How exciting! Congratulations on the new machine Barb. It's going to be fun, fun fun.

ReplyDeleteCongratulations Barb, I love my embroidery machine. I don't know how Pfaff cards work, but there are tons of free embroidery designs on the web, you just download and put them on a card. Have fun.
