I WANNA.......

One day out browsing blogs, can't remember which one, if you ask me on a given day what my name is, I just might not be able to answer you...so sorry if it was your blog. Anyways....I loved her calendar quilts, she gave me the name and I took a trip to Amazon.com (yes...the best way to travel).

I wanna do this for my little young women (they are called Beehives).....
I wanna work on this and will tonight while watching Netflix, I had to wash out an error last night or it would have been done today.
Kelly over at I HAVE A NOTION sent me these, was a fast order and shipment....I so wanna work on this Barefoots pattern...
Searching through my books last night I discovered I had two of these so if you wanna have it, just leave a comment.
I got this book off ebay....I so wanna sit down and read it but not today!
My camera went on a bender last night and is having trouble focusing (that is my excuse). I so wanna play with my Go dies.....I got three new ones and now I order another from Kelly over at I HAVE A NOTION....it is coming in soon. I promise to give away some cut outs as soon as I can get to them. You wanna come over and play?
I wanna get to these quilts, Two are pinned and the Orange slice is partway quilted....I wanna get to it today...soon.....someday. Jane over at Janes Fabrics and Quilts was talking about all the UFO's she had and how she was working on them a little at a time. She got me to thinking and well....all I have to say Jane is.....
CALGONE.....TAKE ME AWAY!!!! BECAUSE YOU DO NOT SEE WHAT IS UNDERNEATH ALL THOSE QUILTS AND INSIDE THE CHEST UNDER THAT BASKET........

I am working with these beautiful fabrics.....ummmm ummmm good....

Here is my Power suit Challenge.....I am laughing because you actually thought I would show you a picture of it? I got it all quilted up last night, today I will bind it and them the embelishments will start.
So you feel better Jane, Just knowing that there are people out there just like you...doesn't it make you feel better....like there truly is a place in this world for UFO hoarders, fabricaholics, and Wanna-holics.....

  1. I have that calendar quilt book but I still haven't even started it. Darn, another thing to feel guilty about.

  2. Well, Barb, you made me feel better. I have a whole large bin full of flimsies to be quilted. I started looking around me and so far counted 12 shoe box or larger bins of projects that are in process. I believe I also have a couple more projects in progress. Just don't see them right now. I am beginning to think I might have a problem. LOL I really need to buckle down and finish some things. Then I see another BOM on a blog and just have to do it. Oh well, I guess this is the life of a quilter. (grin)

  3. I'm headed up to Kelly's next week and we're gonna make sure we finish our power suit challenge pieces. Figured misery loves company... and we both can kick each other in the bee-hinds to get-r-dun!

let us know how you like that book. Have you read Marie Bostwick's Cobbled Court series? I love them!

  4. I fell in love with the Calendar Quilts and just had to buy the book too. Have I made anything from it yet? Nope, but that's OK because it is there when I'm ready.

You can't seem to stay away from those Go dies. They can be very addictive. I have a couple new ones that I haven't even unwrapped yet. I need to order some more mats.

  7. That Calendar Quilt might have been from my blog. I made the water melon and the umbrella with boots one. They are all so cute. Love that Bareroots pattern. I'll have to look into that. You do have a lot you wanna do. At least you are doing something about your UFOs! Hang in there!

  20. I think there are a lot of quilters that are sitting on things to quilt. I just took 5 to be quilted. Some had been sitting there for a couple of years not quilted. I have 3 of them back. One is bound and given as of today.
