She sent these wonderful cut outs....oh my gosh...my mind was reeling with ideas of what to do with them all... My mind is still going at it....so soon, very soon....there will be a fun quilt being born. I believe all the asphalt is gone (blushing)......and the black and white material is just awesome!! Thanks so much Joanne!!

Last Day of the Spring Accuquilt Blog hop (Friday......April 15th)
This certainly was a fun hop, I hope you all were able to join us. Sew Cal Gal sure put alot of work into this and so I wanted to take a minute to thank her for her hard work.
Picking up another son today....and husband who has been out of town for a week....busy day...no sewing today either!
I bet by next week you will be ready to start sewing like crazy again!
ReplyDeleteI am still waiting to win one of those Go 's!!!!
I know I would get a lot of use out of it!

I felt it too...that's when my knitting basket appeared! Now, I'm itching to stitch again!
ReplyDeleteLovely package Barb. You will love the thread.
ReplyDeleteIt is okay to "just not feel like it" sometimes. Take some "being" time; time to reconnect with yourself. It works wonders.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your time with your family!
ReplyDeleteYou'll love the Aurifil. Very low lint.
A lot of us have that "just don't want to sew" feeling from time to time. I do hope it passes soon. Can't wait to see what you do with your goodies. I know you will enjoy your time with your sons.
ReplyDeleteWhen you said all the asphalt was gone I had to go back and enlarge the picture to see what you were talking about lol. I thought you were going a bit crazy and had no idea what you were doing with asphalt.
ReplyDeleteI have days that I don't feel like sewing too. Sometimes I push myself to sew and I feel better and other days I say whatever. This time of year there is so much to do, working outside, cleaning out closets just to mention a couple. Have a great weekend with your sons! I will be thinking of you.
ReplyDeleteSometimes you just need a break. Great bunch of goodies your received in the mail. Thanks for the links to the blog hop.
ReplyDeleteWe all feel like that sometimes. I plan to do a bit of gardening today too. We are supposed to get rain for the weekend so I will get lots of sewing done then. There's got to be a balance.
ReplyDelete:D We need a rest from everything we do. Except breathe, I guess. ;D
ReplyDeleteI totally get it! lol
ReplyDeleteI hardly ever stitch when I'm traveling, even if I bring it along!
Don't worry the quilting mojo will return...!!!Lost mine for 6 months last year....very depressing....LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy
Every now and then I take a break too. I find a good book and spend the day reading. What a lovely pkg. that came in the mail. Hugs
ReplyDeleteI had to double check to see if this was your blog....NO SEWING....hard to believe!
ReplyDeleteSometimes all you have to do is breathe in and breathe out. And, that is enough,
ReplyDeleteNice little giftie you got in the mail....have fun with that! And have fun with those boys that are home, too!
ReplyDeleteXOXO,
Cyndi
I've been kind of in the same boat. Not much sewing going on this week. But I will be machine quilting the next couple of days. How's it going with your sewing machine??
ReplyDeleteEverybody needs a break sometimes, even from something they enjoy. Relax and rejuvenate until you feel like sewing again.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Sew Meow - what a cute name. The things the bloggers made for the hop were all very impressive. I liked it.
